Two Dead Brolies?
So in movie 11, Goten, Trunks, Kuririn, 18, and of course Satan killed a clone of Broly. Is it possible that this scientific creation had a soul just like a normal organism, and went to Hell? Are there two Brolies down there? And if so, would they get along??
Let's just all get along and beat each other up
Re: Two Dead Brolies?
I wanna see a screaming contest between them now
. They both are just so deeply in love with Goku that they'll fight for him.
But in all seriousness I'd think there would be. If Cell being biological had a soul, the clone Broly should too.

Why Dragon Ball Consistency in something such as power levels matter!

Re: Two Dead Brolies?
Doesn't Goku get commissioned to stop Broli from rampaging in Hell once his bio-created reincarnation was killed? This would imply that Bio-Broli did have a soul if it was only after Bio-Broli died that the rampage began. Or maybe it was just really good timing between the real McCoy and his Swamp Thing counterpart.

I actually wondered if Bio-Broly counted as a resurrection or something.

The clone went to King Yemma for sure. And then Yemma is very confused and don't know what to do with him because Broly is already dead in his records.

For some reason, the idea of this as a scene amuses me a lot.Marco Polo wrote:The clone went to King Yemma for sure. And then Yemma is very confused and don't know what to do with him because Broly is already dead in his records.
This discussion has come up a few different times in the past (including one great time where we discussed the idea of a Broly/clone Broly fusion named Brorololi or something akin to that

Yeah, there would be two "Brolys" in Hell. Except... the clone (going by the way Hell works in the anime, with all the villains keeping the bodies they had at death, anyway) most likely would look like the mutant freak slime monster version rather than a regular Broly, so nobody would really get them mixed up.
I see no reason for a cloned Broly to have the original's soul. Cell didn't randomly snatch up the souls of anyone who he had DNA from who happened to be dead at the time he was created, so some leftover Broly DNA being cloned shouldn't give Broly's soul to the resulting clone either.

Re: Two Dead Brolies?
That's a question...would he look like the sludge monster? Characters in pre-GT hell for the anime are still kinda inconsistent. The general rule seems to be that characters are restored to their original body upon dying, so long as the damage hasn't already healed. Hence why Tenshinhan keeps his scars and Gero stays a robot with a human brain. Though we also have Freeza being given back his organic body though, despite having obviously healed and then enhanced with the cyborg attachments.Pantalones wrote:Yeah, there would be two "Brolys" in Hell. Bio-Broli's normal form was that of the regular Broli. It wasn't until he was released and he started to deteriorate that he looked like goop. So if we exclude the Freeza example, I think it's probable that he'd be returned to normal Broli body upon dying. But since there should be two of Broli running around, I could see him getting the Freeza treatment and being made a goop monster for our sake of telling them apart.
Re: Two Dead Brolies?
Unless the original Broli is not dead at all... DUN DUN DUN
I believe that yes, there are two Brolis in the cosmos, and yes the clone was restored to having his normal Broli body. I also believe that the original is not actually dead, but that's another story.

Two souls, I believe.
Whether he became "unmutated" at the afterlife is another issue.

Cell did get his soul put back in a new body regenerated entirely from a single cell, though.Pantalones wrote:

Not quite the same situation... his soul didn't get "put back" when he regenerated, because his soul never went anywhere. He didn't actually die (one of his cells--and thus Cell himself--survived and regenerated), blowing himself up just pushed him to the point of "near-death."

I imagine his reactions would be something akin to how he reacted to the Adult Future Trunks coming to his desk while he was supposed to be just a year old.Marco Polo wrote:The clone went to King Yemma for sure.
