I knew it was going to eventually come, I'm just glad we finally have confirmation. Can't wait to see how the dub cast handles the movie. Schemmel's proper SSJGodku (not just for a videogame) should be fun to see, and I'm looking forward to finally getting to watch the movie.

I'm expecting it to be treated like Kai and retain whichever characters they share (so 18, and Bulma for the most part. Maybe the Narrator if they somehow got the extended edition).

Is Adult Gohan in this movie? I don't think they can do that if that's the case. Unless they already have a DUB voice for him that they're going to use in KAI? You know since he doesn't have a Kai dub voice yet...

Well Kyle Hebert did say he was recording for Kai months ago so that would imply he's still the voice of Adult Gohan. I really, really doubt they would replace him unless of course they want Gohan to sound more like Colleen Clinkenbeard's so in that case I could see Todd Haberkorn doing Gohan. Doubt it though.

I just figured they'd want him to sound more like colleen. I don't see Gohans voice going from kid gohans KAI to dbz's teen gohan... That doesn't seem like a very realistic transition. (Though I still prefer Kyle for him)

Kind of makes you wonder if this is the reason FUNimation got DragonBall back on Toonami, but holy crap I'm pumped! Hopefully there will be a showing somewhere in Nebraska. I know the manager of one of the theaters near me is a fan, so maybe he'll have some pull in getting it. If not maybe a roadtrip to Lincoln/Omaha will be in order because I'm sure one of their theaters will get it. I don't really even care about the price and this is coming from someone who thinks $8-10 for a movie is highway robbery.

It's a long shot but hopefully in the DVD release we'll get the Yo! Son Goku and His Friends Return!! and Episode of Bardock features as extras. Hey, a guy can dream.

I have a feeling it's temporary. Scenes and Dialog change all the time from Trailer to Theatrical release.. different takes are used etc.

I get the feeling it was cut here and there because it sounds a little jumpy in the audio at times.

My problem with the audio is that it sounds really, REALLY, deep and scratchy. Like someone trying way too hard.

Well that can tie into Schemmel possibly deepening/lowering his voice for SSJG like he did SSJ3-4. As I said before his Super Saiyan God line in the English Battle of Z trailer had quite a low and deep tone to his voice. Wont know till we see the full movie I guess.

I'm looking forward to hearing the full english dub to see what direction Schemmel will take the SSJG voice. I'm hoping it won't be too deep but we won't know for sure until the movie (or another trailer) is out.

Well said; I feel the same way. If this movie plays at a theater within driving distance, I am going to see it. Don't even care that it's the English dub. How often do these kinds of things happen? Wasn't the last limited theater run movies #6 and #12 in 2006?

I'm praying for a miracle that the blu-ray comes with the extra material.

I own the Japanese version on DVD and saw it in cinemas twice last year, but the announcement of a dub is super exciting, I love the Funimation cast (even though some of their early work is... questionable) and I'm super excited to finally see it in English whenever it's available here in Australia.
