Lol i almost thought that was a screen shot for the new game. But yea Dimps shouldve added that as an option in Burst Limit and Infinite World. It Kinda Would please Both Fans preference. Hopefully they announce something this weekend Because i dont think they'll announce it at E3.

Burst Limit did have that option, it was however, an active system, in the leading player having that camera behind their back.

too bad it was useless: that type of camera in a 2d (or 2.5d if your prefer) is just useless, and unusable

How many dicks do I have to suck to get Dimps to make another 3D Budokai-esque game again? My patience is seriously starting to wear thin with these new DB games.

Ignoring the obvious bait above

Anyone have any theories on when we might see a new update? I know V jump supplies updates with DBZ games, but there is another magazine that from what i remember, usually follows suit.

Can't remember the name of the magazine though. Doing a quick search on youtube, battle of z's first teaser trailer seemed to be around june, and the budokai hd collection got announced in early july . Perhaps we can expect a trailer during the week of e3, or maybe a week or 2 after the event?

V-Jump is released on the 21st of every month dated two months ahead. This reveal came from the July 2014 issue of the magazine.

Weekly Shōnen Jump is released every Monday. A week or two after a big V-Jump reveal usually sees a one-page recap or so in their own issue. Sometimes characters are revealed in WSJ, but that's generally reserved for V-Jump.

I will be surprise if we will see anything at E3. It seems like they ditch DBZ games at E3 ages ago.

Well then maybe before E3? I'm sure they dont want to wait too long before the intrest and hype goes down.

We won't see any info at E3, let's be realistic.

Either b4 , or a few weeks after. Maybe. Thats my pick, though my money is more on a week or two after the event. Hope i'm wrong though

i might have to look back at previous dbz games and when official trailers first came out, after the first scan.

I just hope this DBZ game turns out to be good. In my personal opinion, DBZ games started to lose my interest after the PS2 era ended

Well, for sure I can tell at Japan Expo (from 2-6 July). Other than that, maybe we'll have trailer in upcoming week(s) before E3 and some more scans after E3 from July's V Jump magazine.

If this game is atleast playable, maybe but there's a lot of things it has to meet at least be playable.
Zephyr wrote:The fandom's collective fetishizing of "moments" is also ridiculous to me. No, not everyone needs a fucking "shine" moment. If that's all you want, then all you want is fanservice, rather than an actual coherent story. And of course those aren't mutually exclusive; you could have a coherent story with "shine" moments! But if a story is perfectly coherent (and I'm really not seeing any compelling arguments that this one is anything but, despite constantly recurring, really poorly reasoned, attempts to argue otherwise), and you're bemoaning the lack of "shine" moments as a reason for the story's poor quality, then you're letting your thirst for "shine" moments obfuscate your ability to detect basic storytelling when it's right in front of you.

If Kinect and Ultimate Tenkaichi were at E3 depending on how far this game is we could here something during E3.

This is the first current gen Dragon Ball game, and one of Bandai Namco's few current gen titles in general. As long as it's not from a kusoge factory, I imagine there will be a presence at E3.
"I like the money it brings in, but Dragon Ball Heroes is the worst. That's actually the real reason I decided to start working on new material. I was afraid Bandai would make something irredeemably stupid like Super Saiyan 4 Broly." - Akira Toriyama, made up interview, 2013.

I'm still biting my tongue on this game until we get a trailer.. But for now I will say this,

With the "Official" announcement of Mortal Kombat 10 depending on if this DBZ game turns out being worth while I will buy a PS4, this game (for PS4) and MK10.
It's not too late. One day, it will be.
