First he was dead in the Saiyan Arc. Then he was hospitalised in the namek arc. Then he was injured in the Freeza arc. Now has an illness in the andriod/cell arc. Then he dies again.
That's what i like most about Z,The main charecter doesn't do evrything and the story gives other charecters the spot light making it feel like it has more then one main charecter

How many long main stream anime do you know that have the hero lose to a villian like goku did to vegeta in the saiyan saga and surrender to a villian (cell) to let some one else (gohan) finish the fight ?
July 9th 2018 will be remembered as the day Broly became canon.

Dragon Ball was pretty much all centres around Son but in Dragon Ball Z they allowed others to shine too, like for example, in the filler arc Garlic Jr. he doesn't even show up (unless you count for DBZ M1).

I'm not saying other character's having spotlight is a bad thing. Infact that's why I love Garlic Jr as much as I do.

All I'm saying is why does Goku need go missing in order for other characters to shine? For example Gohan shining in front everyone including Goku. I think that was much better then say if Kakarot died and Gohan then went SS(j)2.

Not really a bad crop but it can show how they avoid bad cropping by panning. Though for this scene, it makes it a little disorienting

Changed my mind guys....I'll probably buy Season 4 here soon. I probably won't be buying them as they release though. BUT! since I haven't watched but only 1 episode of the level sets I'm going to enjoy those and then I'll jump into the season sets wherever they pick up at haha

What is this? This is terrible.

The entire thing is out of the aspect ratio it should be in, the shots are terribly taken and this guy has no clue what he's talking about.

The screenshots this guy used have some unbalanced colours to it, or he tried to improve them as others YouTubers usually do for their "UltraHD 4K Dragon Ball Z" videos.

Besides the colours, the cropping didn't look all that great as he praises it.

I updated the first post with new images/information.

Okay, so can we talk about the special features for a second? I'd really like to talk about the special features for a second. First off, FUNimation has updated their entry for "season" five on their online store, and the special features have been changed.

Here's what they used to be:
"Inside Dragon Ball Z: Interview With Sonny Strait"
"Inside Dragon Ball Z: Interview With Stephanie Nadolny"
"Dragon Ball Z Retrospective: Part Four"
Here's what they are now:
"Inside Dragon Ball Z: Interview With Sonny Strait"
"Inside Dragon Ball Z: Interview With Meredith Mauldin"
"Toei Tour: Raw Footage"
Either Stephanie Nadolny's interview has been removed or she was never interviewed to begin with. We might never know. That's really a shame; I was looking forward to hearing what she had to say. It's neat that we're getting an interview with Meredith (McCoy) Mauldin, since she hasn't done anything for FUNimation lately (that I know of). So, we lose one voice actress and gain another. The "Toei Tour" has me most excited. Could we be getting a glimpse at the making of the original Japanese version? Might we even get to see a recording session with the Japanese voice actors (like we did on that AKB48 bonus DVD?)? How cool would that be?

Also, "season" six's special features have been revealed. Of course, given what happened with "season" five, these could change at any time.
"Inside Dragon Ball Z: Interview With Eric Vale"
"Inside Dragon Ball Z: Interview With Cynthia Cranz"
"Dragon Ball Z Trivia"
Eric Vale is also a writer for the series, so his interview should be interesting. I'm curious to hear what Cranz thinks of her character, considering the dub likes to make ChiChi even more irrational and annoying than she already is. The "Trivia" featurette could be anything, possibly just a list of fun facts about the FUNi cast and crew. We'll have to see.

I was honestly surprised that they were going to have an interview with Nadolny considering, from everything I've heard, she pretty much got the cold shoulder when it came to returning for Kai. So, not really surprised that it never came to be. The Meredith McCoy interview should be interesting. I like Clinkenbeard for #18, but I also really liked McCoy. I've always wondered why she didn't reprise the role considering she was working on FMA:B for FUNi around the same time as they were doing Kai. Not that they will probably mention anything about it in that particular interview *shrug*.

Yet again GokuT23 has no idea what he is talking about.
It is clear that sometime in Mark Satan's life, he acquired the dragon balls and called upon shenlong to grant him immortality.

They removed Stephanie's interview?! Damn shame I was really looking forward to what she had to say. :(

It'd be interesting if they had an interview with the Faulconer Team concerning the music and issues but this probably is something FUNimation wouldn't want to deal with.

Oh yeah - those bridges are well and truly burnt. I'm pretty sure that the guys at Funimation are totally at loath to include the Faulconer score on these releases.

Agree with this completely. I can't stand 'reviewers' when they can't even setup their own gear correctly.

Have the special features/interviews been ripped beyond Season 3? Is it "illegal" to ask for that?
