Has anyone other than Nozawa ever voiced Goku in Japan?

Let's just completely disregard the Evolution dub...

With all the advertisements and events Goku has appeared in, have anyone other than Nozawa ever been used for his voice, or has it just been her, going strong for 28 years?

I mean, you might loosely be able to count Captain Ginyu's two voice actors (for DBZ and for Kai) when Ginyu took over Goku's body. Other than that, no.

I get the impression that Nozawa is so proud, enthusiastic and protective of the role, that images of her aggressively hunting down the culprits come to mind when I imagine what would happen if the role was ever voiced by anyone else.

In terms of TV advertisements or third party merchandise stuff, it's possible that on occasion she was either mimicked or replaced. Fortunately for you, you're lucky in that there's a couple of guys on this forum with a knowledge exhaustive enough to give an answer. If anyone knows, the staff or Kei17 do.

You really do have to admire Nozawa for her commitment to the role. After 28 years of being the only Japanese voice for Goku, she has yet to show any signs of stopping.

No, and none should. you know, i can accept any characters having other VA -if it was good, of course- but not Goku, he's a special case.
