Do you guys think we'll get any new information or gameplay footage of the new DBZ game at E3?

If we do its gonna be next to nothing. Itll just be one of those games on the floor, kinda like when you go into a Gamestop and they got the systems set up with demos.

No. Not really. I feel like we have so little information right now that there is no chance for a demo or anything at E3. Plus, recent trends are that we typically tend to skip E3 and get information at Japan Expo instead. So, while I guess there is a possibility, I wouldn't hold your breath.

I think we may see something at E3. Its the first Jump title for PS4 so maybe NB would wanna show it off, but Keep in mind that the game hasn't even been announced in NA/EU yet.
EDIT: You guys think this game will come out in 2014 or 2015?

The last time I can remember there being anything DBZ related at E3 is back in 05 I saw a banner with Goku and Janemba promoting the first Sparking!/Tenka'ichi.

There's a good chance we might see a trailer at E3. But gameplay? I dunno...

Perhaps at one of the international conventions like Japan Expo or something. Bandai Namco's DBZ team has usually shown up there on previous occasions.

The last time I saw a DBZ game at E3 was in 2007 when they had a interview with one of the guys from Atari about the story mode. After so many mediocre games, I doubt people can get hype up for a DBZ game again. You will still get the comments from casual people like "Ugh another DBZ game? It's still the same bullshit again", "DBZ is still a thing? DBZ is so 1997!" and "They should have ended it with Budokai 3".

I haven't see any official statement by Namco about their lineup.

When they say that, what do they mean by it? Is it the story(which I wouldn't be surprised if that's the case), gameplay, characters? What do they mean by "same bullshit"?

I ask this over and over because that's one of the reasons why Namco did what they did with UT and BoZ. And I will continue to say this over and over, these so-called "casual people" need to SPECIFY what they say.

Which in my opinion is a thing a bit stupid to say. Soul Calibur, Tekken, Streeth Fighter and a lot more still have the same gameplay plus a few tweaks here and there. If they changed things too much people would complain. So I don't understand that kind of comments.

DB has several kinds of gameplay mechanics for their fighting games: Budokai, Sparking/Raging Blast, Super DBZ, Battle of Z, Ultimate Blast, Ultimate Butoden, Supersonic Warriors... and here I'm counting only the most modern fighting games, we also got card games, RPGs, action platforms...

So technically speaking we got quite a lot of variety in DB games.

Tekken, SC and Street Fighter still had good games. DBZ on the other hands, no so much. DBZ games are a easy target to make fun of.
