Freeza's 5th form will just Coola's final form but with different colors. Calling it right now.

That's right Vegeta: Play the game. You'll eventually run out of the energy to sustain SSJ2, and then you're finished.

Just like his first battle with Goku! And against Semi-Perfect Cell!

Wait... is the last panel supposed to be Freeza transforming? I thought it was just a close up of Cooler before he attacks.

At the very least, Freeza should still be much, much, much shorter. If anything, he'll look exactly like this series' final form Cold (I.e. himself, but bigger), with Cooler's head.

Oh, and he can survive in the vacuum of space. All this stuff is just presented as the way Freeza is, without even an attempt at rationalizing it, yet the tone dictates we're supposed to take all this silly grasping at straws as thrilling danger. So I guess I don't really take the power inflation in the Boo arc seriously, but I don't take the power inflation in earlier arcs seriously either, so there's no net loss of seriousness. I think a silly story presented as serious is harder to accept than a silly story presented as silly.

I noticed that, but thought it was just an error or a stylistic choice. Though Freeza's eyes in the previous panel are also a good indicator.

Also what can be seen of the head thing looks more like Freeza's. At least to me.

Anyway, I'm surprised to see Ghost Freeza transform before U8 Freeza. Now if U8 Freeza does it it won't be quite as surprising, although this might be used to try and establish Freeza as a threat to Goku. Now, obviously the Freeza we know would be too much for base Goku but one-shot material for Super Saiyan Goku, making the fight fairly boring. So I've been thinking for a while that the extra form is going to give a massive power boost, and that base Cooler in DBM will be portrayed as being fairly weak without the form, only stronger than Freeza while transformed.
I'm re-watching Dragon Ball GT in full on my blog. Check it out if you're interested in my thoughts on the series as I watch through it!

It's definitely Freeza. You can see the face mask part have little marks near it to show that it's just appearing, which it wouldn't have if it was Cooler since his already did.

Not a bad 5th form Freeza. Disappointed he doesn't get Cooler's head spikes but at least he doesn't have those ridiculous handlebar shoulders that scream "GRAB ME!"

Not really liking the design too much (especially Freeza's height apparently increasing to be practically the same as Coola's), but I do give them credit for not recycling Coola's design as much as they could have. I think the most disappointing part for me though is that they could have been a little more creative and tried to give Freeza his own mask-like thing instead of just copying Coola in that regard.

Overall, somewhere around a C+ or B- for me.

Don't you have a design for 5th form Freeza somewhere? Personally your version is my favorite with this being 2nd. All the other designs I've seen are just color swaps of Cooler's design.

I much prefer that they didn't feeling the need to make him too similar to Coola. I love the design. Its miles ahead of any other I've seen.

Freeza looks like Rhino from Spiderman comics, or a Ninja turtle, or even a transformer.
