Seems fake to me. I refuse to believe any professional would fade a green gradient along the bottom of the image just to layer their text on top of. Looks like utter shit.

And if it isn't fake? Well, I have no interest in the dub any longer. Reverting back to that garbage cast is a sin.

Seems to me like some talentless, nostalgia driven dub fan is trying to start rumours focusing on his awful vision of an ideal cast.

Brad Jackson has apparently made a comeback for voice acting in recent years so him returning as Oolong may not be too far fetched. Also, do you honestly hate those three voice actors that much? I actually kind of prefer Meredith Mccoy and Jackson over their replacements.

I really highly doubt it's true, at least as far as Vollmer goes. To bring her back for just this movie when they've been using Rial for everything else ever since Kai's first appearance, would just be...strange.

Besides, cast consistency, please! (Though I really would have liked to see what Vollmer and Nadolny could have done under the new, better direction that FUNi's current dubs have taken).

Monica Rial is great. She was the replacement in Kai...I'm confused by what you mean? She wasn't replaced.

Tiffany Vollmer, as supposedly seen on the poster, is abysmal as Bulma. She is absolutely worthless and should stay as far away from Dragon Ball as possible. Her portrayal of Bulma is godawful and the furthest thing from accurate. That's not even script related, I can't even blame FUNi for her crap. That stupid over the top accent kills every scene. Way to butcher a character, Tiff! You're the best!

Okay, I've got to ask, because I've seen a lot of people cite this before - and I'm seriously curious, I'm not trying to nitpick here - but...what accent?

I've seen a lot of people over the years claim she has a 'Valley Girl' thing going on in her voice, but I'm just not hearing it. Either that, or what I'm thinking of for a 'valley girl' accent isn't quite what most mean.

Ugh, my mistake, I meant Meredith McCoy. Also, damn. I can understand if you don't like Vollmer's portrayal but don't you think calling her "worthless" is a bit much.

If this is true, I think we can safely assume that Dragon Box-era FUNimation are dead, and that they now only treat DBZ as a nostalgia cash cow. I really don't want it to be true, but this poster looks surprisingly real. Time will tell, I suppose. I don't even care all that much for the dub, I'll most likely still pick up BoG whenever it comes out for the Japanese version, but if this does happen to be real, I feel like FUNimation are telling us that they simply aren't aiming DBZ at people like us any more.

I'll be the weird one and say that I honestly hope this is true. Colleen Clinkenbeard and Monica Rial are fantastic actresses, but I prefer Meredith and Tiffany as #18 and Bulma, respectively. Vollmer can get over the top, but she just needs a good director to set her straight. I clearly remember the redub of the Fake Namek episodes (directed by Mike McFarland) in which Tiffany Vollmer and Sonny Strait just use their normal voices and Bulma in particular sounds fantastic. That's how I wish the character had been played the whole time. And really, who on earth prefers Bryan Massey's Oolong over Jackson's? Neither of the voices suit Oolong, but at least Jackson isn't trying to do a bad imitation of himself.

It's a tad strange, though. Does it really say "Meredith McCoy" on the poster? The FUNi "season" six blu-ray specs refer to her as "Meredith Mauldin." The lack of consistency there makes me think that this is just a fan photoshop.

It seems to have Meridith McCoy and Collen Clickembeard listed. I don't think it's real in my opinion. I can't see them going back to the old voices when even games with Z in their title have used the Kai voices.

It makes more sense to me for them to put in extra effort to get the "nostalgic" cast for a big feature film event than it does to get the "nostalgic" cast for random video game #357.

Thought it is odd, what with how much Sabat was bragging about the recasts back when Kai started... I can see this going either way at this point.

Well...there's always the possibility that Kai would be having her play Goten, to be even closer to the Japanese version of things, so that all the kid versions of the male Son family have the same actress at least.

'Course, at that point, you'd have to wonder why they'd be revealing that with this movie, while also bringing Vollmer back for Bulma, if the poster is true.

Oh, that's right, she voices Mai as of Revenge of King Piccolo. I'm more than OK with this, she did good with the comedic elements of the character in that game.

Bleh, I hope Clinkenbeard's not playing Goten. It would make no sense for them to get these old cast members back if they're not even getting Kara Edwards. Li'l Lemmy would not approve.

I really don't know what to think. That poster was posted by WTK, and he/she's usually very, VERY reliable. Look at me, getting carried away by a rumor!

Massey is actually not bad in the redub of DB Movie 1. FUNimation's insistence that Oolong be gruff continues to baffle, but it wasn't anywhere near as poor a performance as in Kai.

If we really are reverting back to the old cast, all interest in the dub is gone for me; Hell, I can barely tolerate some of the folks they kept. If that poster is fake, they did a decent job, although the 20th Century FOX logo is conspicuously absent, or at least it's small enough I can't find it. It's still there in the FUNimation teaser trailer.

Whoa, are they really using the OG Z cast? Great! Some of the Kai actors, such as Monica Rial, grew on me but I definitely prefer the original dub cast.

The only voice actor that I could imagine returning for this film that wasn't in Kai is Brad Jackson since he seems to still be in the voice acting business.

Another thing: Doesn't FUNimation do formal announcements of dub casts on their blog? i'd imagine they'd even do it for something where everybody knows who is who like DBZ.
