They honestly look like upscaled Burst Limit models. They have the same bulk. It looks like they tried too hard with the cel-shading though, I remember Burst Limit having too little, didn't know where some edges were.

Nice to see it's Dimps behind this game. I'm pleasantly surprised to see it's also going to be available on previous gen systems (I never got around to buying a PS4 or XB1 because I just don't play as many console games as I used to and couldn't justify the expense. Still playing handhelds though.). I don't necessarily know if I'll buy the game or not because there still looks to be too much retreading of same-ol'-same-'ol here. They'd need to prove their non-Raditz-to-Buu elements are interesting enough. (Also I liked their ssjg Goku model from Heroes; would be happy to see Dimps include him and Beerus--refitted for newer gen engines.)

The graphics look Burst Limit but now even more cell-shaded which could be either great or terrible depending how they'll look ultimately when the game goes gold.

True, but the models look slightly even bulkier, and the shaders look okay in some cases, but in others the shaders kind of look like Boz models at times when it comes to the shading.

Well the game does seem quite interesting to me now after all, mostly because of the 3D gameplay since it looked quite fast and agile and because it immediately reminded me of Earth Special Forces. Looked quite similar in that regard. The character textures on the other hand are meh. It's like they have never seen the actual show themselves and just paste the most shining plastic toy gloss onto the models for whatever reason. Just ugh.


The beginning of the trailer looks like they tried to emulate the first BoG trailer. I hope that does not mean they'll only throw in BoG as the only movie related piece of content.

Look to the Kaioken colors. Thats how you must do spike.

I just know Dimps is responsible for my favourite dbz game ever: Budokai 3! And unlike Burst Limit we already have the confirmation that this will cover buu saga at least. I always wished they could have had an opportunity to do a burst limti sequel. Soooo, I might get hyped for this!! Lets go Dimps.
A world without Dragon Ball is just boring.

I hope that this game uses a soundtrack newly made and not recycled music like Bandai Namco has been doing since 2012-2014 (Budokai HD, Battle of Z).

The graphics look nice but nothing you couldn't have seen on PS3 had they not just recycled the PS2 models over and over.

It's probably going to be more of the same shit to be honest, the same story, the same fights and the same characters.

That said there was that new guy and being called Xenoverse then maybe he's from another of the 12 universes. They could do a lot with these games but they never put in the effort anymore because the sales dropped too much.

It is a DIMPS game. You keep saying that he said this & that as a fact, when he didn't. He never said that we will get the JPN score for BoZ, he said that maybe we will get it, because that's what he was told. Turns out that we didn't.

That HUD is disgusting. Why do I need a giant reticle around the person I'm fighting?

If it weren't for Dimps, I'd pass it off as yet another shitty, shallow attempt at a simulation of the series rather a solid fighting game. Perhaps Dimps can do both at the same time again.

Considering the Raging Blast-esque gameplay, I'm not holding my breath.

I hear Burst Limit tracks... I'm sort of fine with that. Gameplay doesn't look complex, I like how Goku is running and swimming now, took Spike forever to do that lol.
