And now to try it on my PS3, it's been many years since I've actively played this game. Wish me luck x)

Is your PS3 backwards compatible? I own the original 80 gig PS3 which I've heard is the only model that is somewhat BC, but it's 50/50 if a PS/PS2 game will save or play. For example, it can play Chrono Cross (PS) but can't save, and it couldn't even handle Naruto Ultimate Ninja 3 (PS2). It worked for Shadow of the Colossus (PS2) though.DNA wrote:Arrived today.

Wow, that is decent.JackyBoi99 wrote:Bought it for $131.00 so that's pretty decent.DragonBoxZTheMovies wrote:How much did you pay for it? Must admit, I'm surprised someone would shell out that much money for another copy of GT- even if it is a Dragon Box. I guess if you found one cheap enough...JackyBoi99 wrote:Bought a second dragon ball gt dragon box, will post pictures when it arrives.
That Chrono Cross issue must've been specific to the game, since all PS3 are backwards compatible with PS1 games (and, from first-hand experience with FFVII, can save).Tyro wrote:Is your PS3 backwards compatible? I've got the 60GB model which has full backwards compatibility with PS1 and 2. As for Final Bout saving, it does... You can save your Build Up Characters only, which include any unlockable characters. This game is odd.Rukura wrote:You can't save with Final Bout, but that was always an issue with that game, so you have to input the unlock cheats every time. Other than that, it works nicely on the PS3....well, as "nicely" as it ever worked :lol:Tyro wrote:Is your PS3 backwards compatible? Oh, that's nice. Huh, didn't know about that Build Up "trick", I'll have to try that out on mine. ThanksDNA wrote:I've got the 60GB model which has full backwards compatibility with PS1 and 2. Unfortunately my TV sucks and I get these disgusting looking scan lines. Oh well.
I've also got a memory card reader which allows me to transfer save data from my memory cards into the PS3.
All PS3s are compatible with PS1 games but PS3 Slim models aren't, although if you hack them then that's a different story (it plays PS1, PS2, PS3, PSP and more).Tyro wrote:Is your PS3 backwards compatible? Finding this out now. Realized I sold all my PS3 games a month ago.rereboy wrote:PS3 is PS1 compatible, period. I have a normal PS3 slim and it reads PS1 games. The issue is just with PS2 games because it requires hardware emulation to run on PS3, while the PS1 games can be emulated by the PS3 with software only.
It's a well known fact that all PS3s legally play PS1 games too, and what Rereboy isn't exactly telling the truth in the sense of it being capable, because if you decide to hack the PS3, if done so, then it can play PS2 games as well as PSP (plus the retro consoles).KentalSSJ6 wrote:Finding this out now. FFFFFUUUUUUU...
Obviously I'm talking about legit play and legit games. Also, even in those cases, using software emulation for ps2 games, there are various issues with playback in many ps2 games.dbboxkaifan wrote:It's a well known fact that all PS3s legally play PS1 games too, and what Rereboy isn't exactly telling the truth in the sense of it being capable, because if you decide to hack the PS3, if done so, then it can play PS2 games as well as PSP (plus the retro consoles).KentalSSJ6 wrote:Finding this out now. Well, in that case I've got a PC that plays all consoles. Amazing, isn't it? Guess I'll just throw my consoles in the trash now.dbboxkaifan wrote:It's a well known fact that all PS3s legally play PS1 games too, and what Rereboy isn't exactly telling the truth in the sense of it being capable, because if you decide to hack the PS3, if done so, then it can play PS2 games as well as PSP (plus the retro consoles).

Legendary Super Warriors for $2.99? What a steal! Did it include the box too?Brad Redfield wrote:I purchased DBZ Viz Big Vol. 2 and Legendary Super Warriors (Gameboy Color) for $2.99 at GameStop's site.
I'm debating if I should pick up Harukanaru Goku Densentsu when I go out today.

Thank you for the welcome!DarkPrince_92 wrote:I wish they weren't all sideways. Anyway, I like how you handled the first figure, added your own custom battle damage... I think. Also welcome to the forums.
