Just as a small heads-up: use Youtube's timestamp feature when sharing links. That way you can pinpoint exactly the scene you're talking about so everyone will immediately see and know what you're talking about without having to go through the entire trailer searching for it.kidtrunksssj wrote:In The Trailer

Continuously spamming re-uploads from what seems to be his channel of info that is already being discussed. Even his latest posts, that actually have something that almost resembles attempts at discussing things, are always unnecessarily linked to his re-uploads when he can just say when it happens or timestamp it.TheGmGoken wrote:I don't see what's so wrong with what he's doing. Because its redundant for him to double-post info thats already easily accessible not to mention all in seperate posts themselves. A lot of the time the info he brings up is usually already long elabourated on before he posts his late viewed sources. Its just unecessary and clogging. He should just count on the site to inform him. If he wants to mention something in the trailer, than just say it. No need to repost it.CM101Play wrote:I've noticed that guy getting a lot of heat from y'all. Just ease up on the guy. Who cares if he posts something already posted? But if a story is perfectly coherent (and I'm really not seeing any compelling arguments that this one is anything but, despite constantly recurring, really poorly reasoned, attempts to argue otherwise), and you're bemoaning the lack of "shine" moments as a reason for the story's poor quality, then you're letting your thirst for "shine" moments obfuscate your ability to detect basic storytelling when it's right in front of you.

Kidtrunksssj, nobody's trying to scare you off the forum or outright attack you so please just take it as a bit of friendly advice.
The point of a forum is to offer your own opinions and thoughts, and engage in discussion with others. Posting a link with little context doesn't really help promote that type of conversation. This is especially true when the links you're posting tend to be to things that been discussed for many pages already.
I think we're simply wishing you'd take the time to skim back a few pages and see what's been mentioned already. That way you can see what's left for you to offer up to everyone. I understand you feel these videos offer a bit more insight into things but it's better to state the details in your own words so that it actually opens up a real conversation. So far we only have a select few trailers and screenshots to go on so just mention which part of each you might be referring to and go from there. It's a far neater, more conversation focused post that won't come across as link spam.
Age doesn't really mean too much here. There's been many examples of people younger than yourself offering a great deal to threads. You can totally do that too!

I'm a bit on edge about Goku's SSJ model. It really looks weird to me, and how pale he is. I don't know what it is, but the lighting on the Namek stage is horrible. The cel-shaded effect on his body there is just so ink-dark it worries me. The cel-shading should just be a darker shade of his skin, not black. I also wish the muscle outlines werent black but skin-coloured.CM101Play wrote:Characters' models need a little work but you mentioned that its alpha. Decent roster and I'm sold.
Then theres the scene with Goku vs Cell and Kid Buu where you see a brief shot of Goku's face... and.... his face looks a little small and scrunched in a triangular way kinda like BoZ model. The the mouthes they're using remind me of Raging Blast's where they're really goofy looking for how akwardly oversized they are when they grunt their teeth.

I'll be buying it for PS3 to play online because it's free and then later (1-2 years when PS4 Slim is released) I'll get it on PS4.dariend777 wrote:anyone else buying the ps3 or 360 version of this game because they don't have a current-gen console? please tell me i'm not alone.
I don't mind playing on a last-gen console (360, PS3, Wii) as long as they have games I want to play and the current-gen ones, I just have Wii U (whenever it's on it's Mario Kart 8 time!) at the moment due to PS4/XO not having any interesting games I'd like to play on them.

There is a reason why the mystery character is so unoriginal.Rukura wrote:At this point, I'm fully convinced that the "mystery character" is either created or fully customizable. I mean, I'm not saying that the design isn't original...
Kanzenshuu wrote:The mysterious new character is still being held close to their chest, but the company does note that it is quite intentional that he seems to have features from many other, established characters in the series. The time machine, hourglass, and other features in these futuristic locales will all tie together.
James Teal (Animerica 1996) wrote:When you think about it, there are a number of similarities between the Chinese-inspired Son Goku and that most American of superhero icons, Superman. Both are aliens sent to Earth shortly after birth to escape the destruction of their homeworlds; both possess super-strength, flight, super-speed, heightened senses and the ability to cast energy blasts. But the crucial difference between them lies not only in how they view the world, but in how the world views them.
Superman is, and always has been, a symbol for truth, justice, and upstanding moral fortitude–a role model and leader as much as a fighter. The more down-to-earth Goku has no illusions about being responsible for maintaining social order, or for setting some kind of moral example for the entire world. Goku is simply a martial artist who’s devoted his life toward perfecting his fighting skills and other abilities. Though never shy about risking his life to save either one person or the entire world, he just doesn’t believe that the balance of the world rests in any way on his shoulders, and he has no need to shape any part of it in his image. Goku is an idealist, and believes that there is some good in everyone, but he is unconcerned with the big picture of the world…unless it has to do with some kind of fight. Politics, society, law and order don’t have much bearing on his life, but he’s a man who knows right from wrong.

BTW, I like how journalist mention that fighting under water and real time transformations are new. Clearly shows that they've no idea about DBZ franchise.

According to the studio, Dimps is actually developing Dragon Ball: Xenoverse specifically for the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, and the company says those builds will look much better than their last-gen counterparts. The company also says the PS4 and Xbox One versions of Dragon Ball: Xenoverse will include unique gameplay features -- likely meaning Kinect/PlayStation Camera integration of some kind -- but did not divulge any specifics on that matter, either.

I hope that this issue is limited to the graphics and possible kinect features. I'd like to keep my 360 and 360 games for awhile longer. The features are going to have to be limited greatly to convince me to think about getting an xbox one at this point in time.sangofe wrote:Oh wow, didn't expect this:dariend777 wrote:http://www.idigitaltimes.com/articles/2 ... nshots.htm

There's Kibitoshin Buu from Heroes that he can transform into. I'm pretty sure Fat Buu and Super Buu will end up being single playable characters again.
