RB1's Extreme Battle Mode is

The hardest way to earn 60 gamer score ever. I don't think I've ever been as challenged in a game besides when fighting Giga Bowser in event 51 in Super Smash Bros. Melee. It should be at least be worth 600 points. And in case anyone is wondering, yes I did beat it.

Whenever I'd play it it'd be to unlock something which would reward me with content not pointless numbers that I couldn't careless about, in fact, I've got the GamerScore notification disabled as I don't care about it.

In Mario Kart 8 for collecting coins it unlocks more vehicle parts for customisation which is really cool, and through this way it's actually rewarding. It's disappointing that PS/Xbox have become so obsessed with their achievements/trophies than anything else.

Some people like to go for achievements. When I'm done the story mode, unlock all the characters, etc, there's not much else to do except fight the CPU / randoms online which gets boring fast. (If you don't have any friends to play with). What some players like to do is go for achievements. For me it makes the playability of the game longer as you're doing a lot of things that may take a while and/or wouldn't really have done if not for the achievements.

All Ruined is harder. And it is a Bronze Trophy. I got the Platinum for all three Blast gamés and Budokai HD. Battle of Z got me not interested, though.

I HATED All Ruined. Was so happy when I got it, it was last one I needed for RB1. I 1000/1000 RB2 and UT as well, but UT was just grinding in the end with those 100 blocks/deflects/defends.

BoZ I'm almost at 1000/1000 just need 100 online wins.
