It sounded like that to me at first, but since it's Engrish, I think he's saying "in this ADVENCHAAA-AAA!"

English: I know about the different dubs and shit. I think you got some voices confused for Dragon ball Kai. Many Toonivere and Champ had same voices. In DBZ Kai Goku and Freeza are examples of same voices from Z to Kai. I'm sure they're others. Gohan and Vegeta are another one.

Honestly, I'm expecting them to say something by the end of this year. The home release will probably follow sometime next summer.
And then the TV run won't happen until fall of 2016 because Toonami is restarting from episode 1.

I also go by "veemonjosh".

This Nappa-rehash guy makes his appearance in the international version. Isn't this pretty much just DBZ with re-recorded lines and a new score?

It just goes to show that Toei's shameless milking of the franchise has no limits, and they have yet again managed to sink to a new low that no one thought possible, even after all the low benchmarks they've left over the years. It's blatantly a case of them saying: "Fuck artistic integrity, the more product we have to sell, the more money we can squeeze from the international market".

...If anything, some of the filler I expected them to keep was a bit more of the baby pterodactyl stuff, to make even better sense of that plotline, but this? Oy...
I guess slightly on the plus side though is that I do quite enjoy the Saiyaman stuff to begin with, but still.

Could our Korean-speaking members post or translate the lyrics to "Fight it out!!"?

They're in English, it's just that a mixture of the quality of the available version and the non-native pronunciation of the vocalist make it a little unintelligible in places at the time being.

I guess you could say that, but they're still getting rid of 23 episodes worth of content down the line, so it's not like it's exactly the same. Besides, it's pretty much worth it for the new dub and score for my part.

I couldn’t agree with you more...I know that it comes from FUNimation, but the promise of "All action, no filler !" seems to be (definitely) broken.
The "Japanese cut" is
far from perfect, but I think I'll keep it safely after all...

So will anyone still be picking this up when funimation dubs the show?

What episode does that nappa lookalike appear on again?

Probably most of us, as we're all suckers for the franchise.
Too bad that Toei knows it - which is how they can get away with putting out something like this to begin with.

The cut filler is really just a bonus. I'm really mostly excited for the new dub and music. And hey, more filler kept means more new music and more new dub.
Judging by past threads on Kai, I think Funi may make an announcement before the end of 2014, and we'll get it sometime in 2015.

I was pretty much only going to pick up a single disc of the Japanese home version for the clean OP/ED. Considering they're not going to be there overseas, hell no.
At this point,
Kai has utterly, and very transparently, failed. It's just
Z. Might as well get the DRAGONBOX.

I will.IMO FUNi did an amazing job with the first 98 episodes, so we can bet that the sequel will be just as.
It's just all those fillers that (deeply) annoys me.

It's very unlikely, but maybe FUNimation will choose to dub the "Japanese Cut" instead of the international one.

Given that FUNi always mixes their dubs in 5.1, I can see a bunch of people throwing Kikuchi or Faulconer back in there just to have Z with a dub that isn't terrible.
I guess that's a plus?

I want to get it for the new dub as well but if toai is not going to cut out most of the filler then whats point of Kai. They did a great job on the first 98 episodes of the show and now they decide to fuck up the pacing by leaving in filler. I might get seasons 8 and 9 of the DBZ blu rays because the old dub gets better when they get to the boo saga.
