Well, when i look at Kai, it look like really amateurish most of time, and we saw in these videos, that lots of animation errors can be fixed

Yeah I've seen YouTube editors remove more filler and look smoother than what Kai did at times.

Not to mention the edits KN pointed out for this movie, he had to correct things the original movie got wrong.
Cool stuff that I upload here because Youtube will copyright claim it: https://vimeo.com/user60967147

"Anyone can learn those skills."

Put a million monkeys in a room and sooner or later you'll get Shakespeare.

I ain't the cock'o'the walk, I ain't the best around, but this kind of work takes time to learn and a lot of practice to get right. It's not JUST editing. It's timing. It's knowing what works and what doesn't comedically. What works VISUALLY.

Also, AMV makers are usually working on 4 minute projects, which are meant to be incredibly edit intensive, for periods of months. Little different than what's going on here. I AM an AMV maker.

Awesome! I make amvs too. Can I See yours? Actually amv editors since around late 2012 tend to make shorter amvs. Around 10 sec to 1:30 is the norm. Also it really doesn't takes months to do amvs . Lastly I was talking about the huge 10 min to 30 min Amvs. Even the meps are greatly edited

I've met a lot of AMV makers who make full length AMVs that can take several weeks to finish, depending on what they're trying to do. I got my "FLCLobots" one done, which you can find on YouTube under that name, in under a week. It has minor visual edits through, a couple major.

So I've I. I've been doing amvs for a long time. I was talking on average it doesn't take a month. I've seen one that takes 3 hours and he made his own scene and character that looks like its part of animation. He basically just mask, did a light adj(white balance), extended the hair by stretching carefully, mask the fur from SSJ4 Goku, placed it perfectly on there, and then use a mixture of King Piccolo and budokai symbols to create pants symbols, Then made his own aura with a mixture of Gradient map and spotlight, and lastly he use pan and crop to make the character look like he's turning around. He also used the lip mask to move his mouth. Similar to y'all editing for Gohan in that video. But on Vegas its easier. Cool I'll check out the FLCL amv. Hope you think I'm not disrespecting your work. I think the editing in DBZA is awesome.

Cool amv! Reminds of my "Go to Sleep Bitch" amv I made on WMM in terms of editing. Of course I couldn't do that effect when you had Naota come out of comic book. Though I did something similar but use a newspaper instead of a comic book.

He brought it up months ago in a earlier thread. It regarded a joke about someone coming out of the closet more times than a gay man with amnesia (I think that was the joke).

Yeah, making videos can take a LONG time. It's part of why I don't do too many myself, and all I really do is set footage to certain timing, I don't even have the capability to do any video editting (I 'cheated' it a bit in different ways with still images that were edited though, in a couple of vids).

It's been known for some time now I believe. And I really don't want to raise the point, but I swear if you start acting like you have in the Fan Art thread over this...*holds aching head*

I got to know about that because of Kaiser husband comment when he shared The return of Cooler abridged on facebook.
Their private lifes dont matter to me, but not having a new episode until August does.

I was a AMV maker too, still did some DBZ videos too. Nothing special.
My skills got better with time but right now I just dont have the patience anymore.
A world without Dragon Ball is just boring.

And why does it matter if someone prefers people of their own gender? It shouldn't even be discussed here.

Please get back to topic.

Being surprised doesn't mean that he should talk about it in a Dragon Ball forum.

No, Kaiser's sexuality isn't Dragon Ball related, no matter how you look at it. (I hope this doesn't sound offensive or anything.)

I don't understand why there is any need to discuss this at all, or even post your thoughts about it here of all places. This isn't FaceBook, this is a DB forum.

Can't wait to see how you guys handle Movie 7. The dub of that movie is already practically a parody of the original.

It's not DBZA related at all. It's his life and his choice, and him wanting people to know is just as fine as if he didn't want us to.

I just agreed it was...off topic. I personally could not care less. I was saying its info on Kaiser who's help make DBZA. Its like a fun fact or trivia. Had Toriyama done this it would had a topic. Just a bit fun fact IMO. And I said once again I'll say I know what y'all coming from
