This arrived on Wednesday from Amazon. £8.55 a steal

Really hope Viz announce the rest of the manga. Will be a shame to only have the first 3 volumes.

I totally forgot Vol. 3 was already out! Purchased it now for £8.96 from Book Depository (same price on Book Depository/Amazon)!

Love reading and seeing the artwork of these books so hopefully they'll continue until the end of Majin Boo's arc. I wish in Japan they'd do a Full Colour manga version for Dragon Ball too.
FUNimation 2015 Releases I want:

As far as the actual series itself, the last thing i bought was that Rock the Dragon DVD when it first came out.

If we're talking about other DB-related merchandise, then the most recent thing i bought was this just a couple of months back: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00E3W ... UTF8&psc=1

Have the reprinted volume 1 yet? I can live with "ooookay paper" but censored I can not.

The 3-In-1's are the "tight budget" releases of Viz. The paper quality borders on that of the average newspaper (in fact it may be the same paper). Not to mention they don't have any extras included at all, not even the content the single volumes include such as author notes. You are way better off with the single volumes, vizbigs, or full colors.

I hope so. These are really great, I especially love the size of them too. Would love it if Viz could cover my favourite saga of Freeza. If they stopped then, I wouldn't mind as much.

Coincidentally, going along with the current combo of manga posts, I also got me some more of the manga :P

But now, I'm not only missing 22, I'm also missing 26 before this one

Quick question. Do the Dragonball 3 in 1's posted above have good quality paper? I know there's a release of Z with quite thick paper and it's really good quality. I find with the regular 3 in 1's the quality of the paper is usually quite poor.

I LOVE the Dragon Ball Colour volumes, and would continue to buy it all the way through if released, but I really need to own the Dragon Ball Manga all the way through. I'm quite ashamed with myself that I don't already own it in it's entirety... so yeah, is the 3 in 1 a good quality release?

Likewise, my full colour volume 3 arrived today.

Still totally enchanted by how nice these releases are. I really hope they do decide to continue the series in print to the end. Hopefully enough fan pressure may allow for it to happen.

The 3-in-1s are the same quality as these "regular" 3-in-1s you refer to, I would assume. So yeah, the quality is nothing to brag about, neither in terms of paper or the actual printing. If you want an actual high quality version, you'd be better off trying to get the VizBigs or the new colored versions.

The Blu-rays of Dragon Ball Z: Level 1.1 & 1.2 for less than £10.

I'll finally own them and watch the episodes at their best, but sadly I'll be missing out on the NEPs and Japanese credits then again, I watched an entire Orange Brick set so it shouldn't bother me too much.

Dragonball Z season 5 blu-ray. I technically don't own it yet since I preordered my copy on Amazon so it won't be here until tomorrow. My next purchase will probably be a ticket to Battle of Gods during it's limited run in heaters :D. I hope it plays in a theater near me.

I didn't buy this but someone bought me Majin Buu Emergence Uncut on VHS. still has the plastic on it haha I think I have about 3 or 4 copies of this exact tape. :P When people are out anywhere they just pick them up for me for some reason haha
Image
Ahh..I don't mind. somebody here or friends might need them one day for some reason or another. :)
The Dragonboxes are like a middle aged woman who still looks good through simply taking good care of her skin and body with maybe a tiny bit of makeup while the Orange Bricks are like a middle aged woman who get's 50 tons of botox, makeup and plastic surgery in order to look younger and as a result looks even worse. ~ ringworm128

Got these over the course of the last few months and just caught some free time today to finally post!

Entire series in funimation singles (including the Ocean Dub); so it is all in 4:3 and the footage has Japanese Audio from Ginyu onward as well as no redone lines from the original US Broadcast, I am a very happy camper and have already made it from Freeza to Boo, all discs working perfectly:
Image
PS you'll also notice the "First Strike" box set another wise eBay purchase $3 total, $2 was for shipping 8)

I also got all the original releases from funimation of the movies (just the discs) in the yellow case [all spot checked and work perfect;y; finally watching Bardock in 4:3 after so many years was phenomenal). I also got the full color dragon Ball manga from Viz:
Image

Got my Dragon Ball Z Cast signatures framed finally:
Image
Its got US and Japanese cast on there: going from Right to Left [note: the Goku signatures are in silver and do not photograph well but in person are super shiny  ]: Masako Nozawa, Yūko Minaguchi (the original Videl from Z and not Kai); Ryūsei Nakao (Freeza),Toshio Furukawa (Piccolo), Kyle Hebert, Kara Edwards, Sean Schemmel, Chris Sabat.

And finally got this bad boy framed (yes I intentionally had all the background show rather than cropping it so it looked like a screen shot; wanted to see the whole damn cel  :

"You might think you know everything there is to know about me, but really, you're not even CLOSE."

"Never give in--never, never, never, never, in nothing great or small, large or petty, never give in except to convictions of honour and good sense. Never yield to force; never yield to the apparently overwhelming might of the enemy." ~ Sir Winston Chruchill / Dragon Ball Z in a nutshell

How I enjoy the anime:

Picked the Level Sets up on the cheap. Had only had the ISOs since I didn't feel like buying an incomplete release but these were super cheap so I went for it.

Pretty nicely packaged...
