Already got Level 1.2 out of curiosity, looks amazing.dbboxkaifan wrote:The UK Orange Bricks are cheaper than the Season Blu-rays but if he wants to get a better version out of the two, then the Season BDs are the pick. I'd wait if I were him or just try to get the Level BDs to see what Z could look without any cropping or cleaning done to it, basically raw.eledoremassis02 wrote:I'd go for the blurays they're cheaper (if they are in the UK) and the earlier sets dont have the missing lines during shaking scenes and some better cropping
Either way I guess I'll wait til end of release to make judgement.

Re: Dragon Ball Z "Seasons" On Blu-ray: News & Discussion
Slightly off topic but does anyone know how to make the PS4 resume BD's? I watch these sets in Marathon Mode and every time I start the Ps4 again it goes back to the disc menu. It's so annoying as I dunno what episode I am one. It's stuff like this that makes me prefer my Ps3.
Re: Dragon Ball Z "Seasons" On Blu-ray: News & Discussion
I always use my ps3 for watching blu rays. My ps4 sometimes resumes from where I left off but no the whole time its really strange.Baggie_Saiyan wrote:Slightly off topic but does anyone know how to make the PS4 resume BD's? Re: Dragon Ball Z "Seasons" On Blu-ray: News & Discussion
That's exactly what happens to me too, there's like a 10% it'll resume. I've explored the settings numerous times but nothing. The PS3 got moved to the main living room so I hardly get to use it nowadays. I'm yet to play a single game on the PS4, oh how I regret buying itGdugz wrote:I always use my ps3 for watching blu rays. I was thinking the exact same thing Tanooki Kuribo
Okay 34.99 isn't going to be the new price for these season sets are they? http://www.amazon.com/Dragon-Ball-Blu-r ... +z+blu+ray if it is I'll no longer be buying them. they've went from 16.99 to 24.99 to now 34.99? no thanks. not touching this until I see it go down to 24.99 again.
The Dragonboxes are like a middle aged woman who still looks good through simply taking good care of her skin and body with maybe a tiny bit of makeup while the Orange Bricks are like a middle aged woman who get's 50 tons of botox, makeup and plastic surgery in order to look younger and as a result looks even worse. ~ ringworm128

Yeah it's weird since S5 has one of the lowest episode count and it's the most expensive set so farsamuraix123 wrote:it really doesn't make sense at all....Baggie_Saiyan wrote:S6&7 are $24.99. Stuff like this just reinforces me on making sure this is my last buy for the Z series. I'm going to wait til the end of the month and see if the price gets lowered down to 24.99.
Amusingly, it's #2 on anime sold on Amazon with the latest S7 in 13th place. Looks like these are selling pretty well even with a $35 price tag.
Edit: why is S6 listed on Amazon as having 7 discs lol

for both of us! little more for you than it is me but bad none the less
I'm thinking I'll just skip out buying the new releases of dbz this month and just order Mobile Fighter G Gundam box sets that I've had on my ''to buy list'' for a LONG! time.
It'll give this one sometime to go down in price.

Not all their releases are crap. Their Soul Eater, FMA Brotherhood, Sengoku Basara, and most recently Eureka 7 and Shingeki No Kyojin releases have all been great. They even kept Eureka 7 in it's 4:3 format for the bluray release.
It seems to me they only half-ass their DB products because they know the name itself sells.

Exactly. Basically, all of their other releases are solid, except for Dragon Ball (mostly Z).KentalSSJ6 wrote:It seems to me they only half-ass their DB products because they know the name itself sells.

Re: Dragon Ball Z "Seasons" On Blu-ray: News & Discussion
I don't think all their releases are crappy(Even though I don't watch a-lot of anime) but I don't want to say that they pulled one over on me because they didn't force me to buy these but at the same time they kinda did get me good by leading me on...Started off with the first 3 being 16.99 which was awesome! then 24.99 which made it a little rougher on me but now they've bumped it up to 34.99(Unless it's about to go down to 24.99 here soon)

That's not really good advice because if he were to visit Amazon.com for opinions he'd be led to believe these Season Blu-rays are perfect.SupremeSSJ wrote:World wide web/internet
