Ginyu's Blood Colour

...The title says it all.

I'm just wondering what Ginyu's blood colour is. I've only seen the original Funimation dub, so for all I know, they edited the colour of it.
I need to know for a picture I'm working on.

Purple. They didn't edit blood color by the time Ginyu bleed.

Is this for a Deviation by any chance, Leotaku?

And yeah, it IS purple. I checked the Kanzenban colour chapters. I always just take the anime colours as face value, despite the colour discrepencies in the manga. The anime is purple too.

I already uploaded it to Fanart Central, but dA, not yet. I will soon though. Maybe in around a week. It's part of my DragonBall Black theme.

I hope I can keep it up. I'm just trying to think of scenes to do to fit with Black. I'm currently planning on with Upa, Bora, and Tao Paipai, and also one or two with Cell and 17 and 18.

But I still really like it. The hole in his chest looks just a little too big and his head is a little squashed though. XD

I'm sure like it's purple like Piccolo's. This question reminds me of how the edited the early episodes of DBZ by changing the blood color just to black. So everyone in a fight looked like that really dirty kid from Charlie Brown (Don't Ask). They all needed a shower...

Well, I drew the hand fairly big, so I had to make the hole bigger to make sure it looked like the hand could actually fit inside. ^^;;

I don't remember any black blood, although I haven't watched the early (or any) dubbed DBZ episodes for a LONG time now. ;_;
I think Piccolo's was green. Then maybe purple. Later, probably red. I still don't know what his real blood colour is. I think the animation cels I've seen have them as red though.
But for all I know (and that's not much), some of the colour changes are just inconsistencies, and not dub edits.

In Dragon Ball and the beginning of DBZ, Piccolo's blood colour is red (though in the English dub it was edited to yellow, so did Saban have a problem with blood, or just the redness...?

). Then, after Namek is discovered, TOEI changed it to a more alien-looking purple. This was first seen when Nail was fighting Freeza.

On my Dragon Box DVD Ginu's blood is light purple.
