Ahh right fair enough.

Yeah they've been composed specifically for these sets, I think they've done it to have that retro-toonami feel.

Some guy in the Youtube comments section for the Season 4 menu theme asked if they'd corrected Goku saying "Hey Mister!" to Yajirobe and someone else replied saying they've fixed it. Hopefully they fix more of the weird dialogue changes from the OBs.

Hmm, if they've fixed that, then it's quite possible they've gone and fixed the Maron mixup, too.

There's nothing wrong those who like this release but to say "Go fuck yourselves if you like 4x3 ratio" then it becomes absolutely unacceptable.

Also, as long as people acknowledge the show's intended aspect ratio is 4x3 AR all's well, though that's pretty damn obvious seeing that the cropping regardless of how selective it may be it'll always chop out important pieces off the image.
FUNimation 2015 Releases I want:
- Kai 2.0 on Blu-ray

This.
There is definitely no reason whatsoever to put someone else down just because they don't like what you like. The guy on the video was being really unprofessional when he said that.

The guy in the video is a complete moron. Its frightening to think that there are people out there that think the same way he does.

This is an 80s/90s animated all-ages show that was popular amongst kids. It's not some potent super weapon that might fall into the wrong hands that we have to protect from evil.

I think it's kinda cool the anti-thinker is branching out. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aglbKiIbJBg

I know EX is probably going to get pissed about people dog piling on this guy but he's a pretty nice representation of the audience for this release all things considered. We've even made gross looking filters on our emulators for retro games. Everything old must be eradicated no matter how awful the outcome looks.

And rightfully so. I mean, is it really so hard to accept that people have differing opinions from your own? Just because the guy was insulting in his video isn't really a free pass to sink to his level. You should want to be better than that, or at least I would.

Don't mean to mini-mod, and I said what I said in general - not meaning to call you out in particular Akumaito Beam - but I just don't see the appeal in sitting around and going 'WHAT A MORON' post after post.

I dunno, he's free to have an opinion but I think we should feel free to voice our opinions on his misinformed opinions right? Of course there's a code of conduct here so while I don't think there's a moral dilemma in calling this guy an idiot I agree that the gravy train should probably end here as to respect the rules EX put in place.

Yeah but outside of the magical perfect and polite nature of these forums, calling people out on stupid shit is a pretty regular occurrence. With that said, I don't really know why we're still talking about this dude.

His video is disliked to all hell and the comments call him out on his shit. Point made, he's probably not gonna turn around and go 'yeah, woops, my bad, I'm wrong!'.

Whatever, move on.

Do you guys think season 5 will drop down to $24.99? I sure wish it would. :( :P
The Dragonboxes are like a middle aged woman who still looks good through simply taking good care of her skin and body with maybe a tiny bit of makeup while the Orange Bricks are like a middle aged woman who get's 50 tons of botox, makeup and plastic surgery in order to look younger and as a result looks even worse. ~ ringworm128

In HMV in Canada all the season sets so far costs 35 bucks but season 2 costs 29 bucks.

Actually, these menu themes sound like they're trying really hard to be Toonami style intros.

I did a comparison between Kai and the Season sets I also included a couple of digitally retraced scenes.

Now I'm all the more thankful Kai remained in 4:3 for the home release.
