Chris must've had a blast recording this! Oh, and actually it's a little over a month before the theater release, and that's not accounting for the Red Carpet Premiere this Saturday.

Without having to comb through this entire thread, has FUNimation released what cities are getting the movie yet? The website doesn't have it yet. I'm in Texas and so is FUNi so I'd assume it'll be released somewhat near to me.

I just searched "Battle of Gods" in Fandango, under my zip code and it popped right up!

Officially no, but if you go to a place like Fandango, search for "battle of gods", and then put in your city or zipcode, it'll tell you where the movie's being shown.

Closest one so far appears to be about 91 miles away. Probabl won't have many showings in Ohio. May have to pass, unless by some miracle a closer area is playing it. 40-ish miles wouldn't be too bad.

The selection for me actually isn't bad, i'll be sure to head to the bow tie cinema warner theater unless they suddenly include AMC theaters. Very excited to see the movie in theaters.

I'm hoping it'll show in AMC as well, they've done this kind of thing before.

It's very close to where I live, it's just that there is only one showtime...
I might as well arrive 2 hours before in case it gets way too crowded. I wish this film had a wider release, then again I don't know how successful it will be in the US.

I found it will be playng in Columbus, OH, at the Nationwide Movie Grill. I live in Lancaster, which is only 30 miles away from there.

So, just a question, since I'm not an animation buff. Some people on the forum have said the animation isn't fluid, or some of the animators cuts weren't very good. I just want to know what they mean and how to look out for those. Cause that's something you have to know a lot about. Does that make sense? I feel it does, but I can try and reword it for clarification if I need to.

I mean, you're pretty open about looking at cartoon porn. Why would you do that? It's fiction. The proportions of these women are not possible to reach in reality.

I don't remember any instances of the animation not being smooth. The only thing that sticks out like a sore thumb is the CG animated fight sequences. Looks like a video game for a bit! There's also some background stuff like rocks falling that were CG too that just stick out horribly.

Yeah, the CG stuff is really, really glaring. I'm not an animation buff (at least not in the vein of what we're talking about right now) by any means, not even close, but the CG is just that noticeable.
I get the feeling we're thinking of the exact same rocks falling moment too. They were moving so slowly...
