There's a DBM bonus page that adresses this issue:DBZGTKOSDH wrote:She looks exactly like the Bra we know though (they have exactly the same face, height, hair, skin, and eye color), which shouldn't be possible since they have a different father.rereboy wrote:Bra is a good example. Fanmanga - DB Multiverse
Re: Fanmanga - DB Multiverse
About Brolly: it's hard being a DBM translator, knowing several pages in advance what will happen, to read your comments and abstain from telling you just how wrong you are. So maybe just one bit of info: rereboy also knows those future pages and he's trying to suggest something about this Brolly and his power in relation to Vegeta.

I didn't even need to know in advance the most recent pages to guess where Salagir is going with this, as you can see in this comment of mine: http://www.kanzenshuu.com/forum/viewtop ... 80#p797087Tzigi wrote:About Brolly: it's hard being a DBM translator, knowing several pages in advance what will happen, to read your comments and abstain from telling you just how wrong you are. Check the date of the post and you will see that at that time there weren't even pages in the translator's website showing what I was suggesting or not. Its just pure logic.
Tullece only exists in the movie/OVA and its pretty obvious that they are doing thing differently here in DBM since Tullece was clearly WAY stronger than he should be in the movie/OVA and no ghost warrior in DBM is actually WAY stronger than he should be. Cold proves just that, unlike what you suggest, it proves that he's not WAY stronger than he should be.RandomGuy96 wrote:They are. Tullece is probably the best example. Cold proves nothing here, as he could be ten times stronger than Android 16 and still get one-shotted. His death tells us absolutely nothing about how strong this Vegeta is that we didn't already know.
You inability to understand what Salagir wants to show is pretty staggering considering its so simple and obvious... Like I demonstrated earlier, I could tell what he was going for with all this, way before I even had the chance to peek at pages in advance. Like I suggested before, your hate for Broly and your pessimistic and exaggerated critical view of DBM have too much of an influence on your opinion.Except this Broly doesn't appear to have gone through the exact same life as Broly in the main universe, so we don't know shit about how strong he is. So he has no purpose as a measuring stick; both him and Vegeta are of completely unknown powers.

Nope. Means your not a crybaby about Broly. People complain he's overrated which is so true, but his haters are also just as bitchy as his supporters. Chances are it won't be nearly as long as the last fight with the Bro man. Either we get a cool fight...or I'd think Vegeta wins quickly.Scarz wrote:I'm actually happy that Broli survived and I look forward to seeing what Vegeta will do next...

Why Dragon Ball Consistency in something such as power levels matter!

Plot twist. This Broly is normal and has SSJ2.

Tullece was only one example. Cooler and Freeza were also stronger, but nowhere near to the same extent as Tullece. This just furthers the idea that Ghost Warriors are useless as measuring sticks. Cold still proves nothing.rereboy wrote:I didn't even need to know in advance the most recent pages to guess where Salagir is going with this, as you can see in this comment of mine: http://www.kanzenshuu.com/forum/viewtop ... 80#p797087Tzigi wrote:About Brolly: it's hard being a DBM translator, knowing several pages in advance what will happen, to read your comments and abstain from telling you just how wrong you are. I don't particularly care what his intent is. I'm simply saying this is not a good way to show it if this is what he's trying to do, since not only do we not know how strong this Broly is (him being in saiyan armor and without the necklace suggests he's different), but we already know enough of how strong this Vegeta is from him obtaining SS2 (which Salagir considers to be a power level itself rather than a multiplier for whatever reason) and standing against something that floored a Cell Jr in just SS1. Not that his power matters, as he's gonna get curbstomped if he wins this.
And yeah, I hate DBM Broly. Even though I predict he'll quickly lose this fight, I just don't like him having any more screen time.

Herms wrote:The fact that the ridiculous power inflation is presented so earnestly makes me just roll my eyes and snicker. Like with Freeza, where he starts off over 10 times stronger than all his henchmen except Ginyu (because...well, just because), then we find out he can transform and get even more powerful, and then he reveals he can transform two more times, before finally coming out with the fact that he hasn't even been using anywhere near 50% of his power. Oh, and he can survive in the vacuum of space. All this stuff is just presented as the way Freeza is, without even an attempt at rationalizing it, yet the tone dictates we're supposed to take all this silly grasping at straws as thrilling danger. So I guess I don't really take the power inflation in the Boo arc seriously, but I don't take the power inflation in earlier arcs seriously either, so there's no net loss of seriousness. I think a silly story presented as serious is harder to accept than a silly story presented as silly.

No trolling, making invinciBroli has as much reason to it as making a Super Saiyan Bra. Less, since we had a precedence set by Goten and Trunks already.Tzigi wrote:You are trolling, right? invinciBroli had a reason to exist in DBM so your comment is irrelevant.Saiga wrote:Since I'm not the kind of guy who makes characters ultra-powerful for no reason![]()

Sigh...seriously, I think you guys are really blowing this whole thing out of proportion. Besides, Broly was never really a very compelling character anyways, so at least now he's got an interesting gimmick.

No offense, and it still leaves it up to a reader to decide if they think it was a good choice or not, or well done, but...that's...pretty much the job of an author, to provide a reason for something they want or need to happen in a story to happen.Saiga wrote:invinciBroli had a reason because Salagir wanted it that way.
Geez, seriously though, if the Broly thing is still bothering most of you this much, why are you even still reading it? It's long done, and for someone 'invincible', he sure seems to have lost fairly quickly...so...

Which makes the comment about Bra completely pointless, and comes back to my original point. Making Bra absurdly powerful would be the exact same as doing it for Broli.Gyt Kaliba wrote:No offense, and it still leaves it up to a reader to decide if they think it was a good choice or not, or well done, but...that's...pretty much the job of an author, to provide a reason for something they want or need to happen in a story to happen.Saiga wrote:invinciBroli had a reason because Salagir wanted it that way.
It takes next to zero effort to follow a series like this. I really lose nothing from doing so since I have already been let down by it, and the art is still nice.Gyt Kaliba wrote: Geez, seriously though, if the Broly thing is still bothering most of you this much, why are you even still reading it? And he needed to lose fairly quickly because of how overpowered he was. He reached the point where if he stuck around any longer, there'd be no beating him. So he lost quickly, because he powered up so damn quickly. Really not a point against him.

Re: Fanmanga - DB Multiverse
Because he isn't that. DBM!Broly isn't invincible - as shown several times in the story itself (pages 178, 227 and 261). He's defeated in every single one of them so he's the very opposite of invincible. He's indestructible when he's in LSSJ but that doesn't make him invincible - as a matter of fact in DBM every LSSJ uses his own lifespan by the sheer fact of being in such a state and dies quickly (like a week or so after transforming). So they've got a lot of disadvantages.Rocketman wrote:Why do you keep putting scare quotes around invincible?Gyt Kaliba wrote:and for someone 'invincible', he sure seems to have lost fairly quickly...so...
But in all probability you'll just disregard my valid points as you already did with many others and continue to troll.

Re: Fanmanga - DB Multiverse
Using trolling wrong. Expressing opinion is not trolling. If they "ignore" the post that's not trolling. They just ignored it. Also to be fair to both sides(as IDC bout Broly as he's like them annoying re spawning bad guys you fight in adventure games). But in any fiction. Where they're invisible that guarantees they will lose. Which supports the Broly side. However its normally by special means. Which does support anti Broly. Both groups are SORTA right. Though IDC bout Broly no more. I just have to say NONE of his incarnation were interesting. Quite boring honestly.
