It's why I'm hoping this is Post/During End of Z era. We got little to nothing on Pan, Uub, and the boys during those last chapters and GT (as much as I did enjoy it) didn't do much with them so to have a film with them featured in it would be nice. Have some Adult Gotenks, have Pan and Uub be Goku's new students, etc.

I also REALLY doubt we will though since the orange is so iconic.

I'm all for the blue outfit. I like how he shed it at the end of DBZ and basically became a teacher to Uub. Kinda symbolized he's no longer a student and ready to do the teaching.

Overall it has been a pretty good day to wake up to for me.
First I find out that Dragon Ball will get a new movie(even though I don't think BoG is fantastic) and then I find out that Tekken 7 has been announced.
Finding out about new instalments from my two favourite franchises on the same day is pretty fantastic, if I should say so myself

Could just be me, but is anyone else ok with AT retconning the EoZ? Uub and everything. Or at least do it differently.

Would also prefer Goku keep the Orange gi.

Didn't Toriyama say that Vegeta would be the protagonist in the next movie? That image of only Goku makes me worry.

Well this will be interesting. A story that he intended to be in the manga?! I can't wait to hear what it'll be about!

Edit: I just learned that Toriyama had came up with the idea as if it was during the serialization of the manga not that he intended it to be in the manga. Probably should have read the rest of the posts before posting xD

I'm excited that there's a new Dragon Ball Z movie going to be released in 2015.

I think it will be a sequel to Dragon Ball Z Battle of Gods, because the ending of Battle of Gods basically set up a story for future movies. Also, it was stated that Battle of Gods was supposed to be like the continuation of the original canon story. This new movie will also be like a continuation of the original canon story, so I think it's probably a sequel to Battle of Gods.

As for what I think the story could be about, I think the main characters could somehow be teleported to one of the other 11 universes where they'd meet another god of destruction, or one or more gods of destruction from other universes could come to the universe that Goku and the others live in. I think Vegeta will get a Super Saiyan God transformation, because, if I remember correctly, Akira Toriyama mentioned somewhere that he'd like Vegeta to play a big role in the next movie.

Hopefully if it's a few years after Battle of Gods, Toei/Toriyama doesn't cop out and make Trunks and Goten still pint-sized with the excuse "Well Goku and Krillin were short at that age too!" We already saw Future Trunks at a regular size as a teenager in the anime and manga.
