That is odd seeing that haha I just ordered part 5. about got this sucker wrapped up! :)
The Dragonboxes are like a middle aged woman who still looks good through simply taking good care of her skin and body with maybe a tiny bit of makeup while the Orange Bricks are like a middle aged woman who get's 50 tons of botox, makeup and plastic surgery in order to look younger and as a result looks even worse. ~ ringworm128

So, Yamammuro drew the 7th Season cover? Why didn't they get him for all of them instead of the regular guy whose name I do not know. I only like his artwork for DBH Cards.

The placeholder for season 7 is probably going to be the cover art. Why Great Saiya-Man is kicking Mighty Mask, I don't know, but...

I like it but Son just looks so unfitting where they placed him, heck, Videl would've been more suitable for it!
I think Piccolo is the most off. Not sure what he's doin lol

I know this doesn't add much, but I think it's rather neat having 291 pages on this forum. The one about the dbz original anime on blueray? Since their are 291 episodes of dbz lol. As for the topic at hand, I look forward to seeing what the quality is like once the whole set is released. (I can't buy into something funimation may cancel: Ala Level sets.)

Random question, to those who own season 1 on blu ray do you guys watch the dub with the original Japanese music or with the dub. And also how do you guys feel about Nathan Johnson's score for the first 67 episodes?

I watched with the dub music. It was okay. It became better in S2 though.

Totally agree with you there. The Vegeta Saga didn't reuse as many tracks, while the Namek Saga sounded more memorable in my opinion.

Yeah, the track that played when Gohan was about to get his power unlocked by Guru (Grand Elder) was especially memorable.

Here are some promotional art for S6:

When I watch the Dub I usually have the US broadcast going with it unless I'm watching the Dragon-boxes. then I really don't want to listen to it then. I have no problem with Johnson's score. :)

Does the Nathan Johnson score have any silent moments in it like the original Japanese score.

Well, it depends on what your definition of silent moments is. It has a lot more subtle moments, that's for sure. It has a lot of moments where it stops for a few seconds, but it's not nearly on the same level as any of the Japanese scores. This applies to to the series, as I haven't seen the movies yet, and therefore haven't heard his scores from them. I think I heard the movies tend to make more use of proper silence.

The first person to point out what's wrong with this image gets a cookie. On a more serious note I'm glad these sets are almost done because that means FUNi will be prepping their next DBZ release (whenever they plan to release DBZ again) and hopefully the next one will be in 4:3.
If anyone has any of the DB/DBZ/DBGT or Maho Tsuaki Sally Japanese single DVD's that they'd be interested in selling send me a PM and I'll see if we can work something out. ;).

I see they chose to base the cover on Yakon's home planet. And episode 000? That's my favourite!

Episodes 195-000? Lmfao. If they do a better release I'll probably end up giving these sets away to my nephew and buying them instead.

Whelp, the art seems to have been updated.

There are lots of people slanted all around the image giving their energy (which doesn't happen in these episodes), which looks very awkward, especially the long haired Erasa knockoff on the left up in the air.

Each 3 seasons make one cover so it will make sense when season 9 is shown
July 9th 2018 will be remembered as the day Broly became canon.
