I just rewatched the party episode that was at the tail-end of the Buu Arc. There's a scene where Yamcha and Master Roshi are looking at an album and are giggling, while Oolong is jealous. Apparently this is meant to be porn pics they looking at? I just assumed it was laughing at younger photos, since that is what I associate albums with.

Chichi and Bulma have an argument to which Yamcha replies that Chichi is really pretty. The dub changes this to Yamcha saying he is available, and Chichi calling him a downgrade.

Also, check out this car Bulma made for Yamcha:

Hey, Gaffer Tape, when you review the anime-only stories you should have "Wolf Hurricane" as the theme, as Yamcha is the filler king.

DBD: The Piccolo Daimao Arc Part 5!

New video is up. The fight gets underway. All the major players have a plan. Only Goku's matters.

Also, custom thumbnails for YouTube. Yay!

Wow our opinions different so much xD. One thing I didn't like bout my favorite arc was the mafuba but Anime fixed it. Was so happy. Also just curious why Blooma? Just wondering. Shall I break down how different our opinions are here or shall I just debate in the comment section like I usual do.

You can feel free to post in whichever venue you like, but I think this discussion thread would be much easier to talk about things in-depth than on YouTube.

As for Blooma, I explain in detail why in the very first video in which she appears (at about 2:45):

DBD: The Hunt for the Dragon Balls Arc Part 1!

Haha, that's good because I didn't even notice that. Maybe Suppaman took a vacation away from Penguin Village?

Oh shit forgot. I'll just wait for the official ranking you make in part 6. Should be able to go ultra in depth. I'm used to Bulma as Champ dub(Korean) used it for Dragonball due to her shirt.

Just so you know, it's not going to end in Part 6. It's going to end in Part 7.

Why? I don't remember much happening afterwards. Unless you're going full dissection.

Yeah, I have no idea how you can make this last to Part 7, but I believe in you!

The panty count makes me laugh because I never noticed it until you pointed it out. It's like when someone pointed out all the panty shots in Sailor Moon, and Chibiusa had the most.

You know, one thing people love to point out about Yamcha is that Toriyama gave him so many different designs, but I don't hear much on his domesticated Piccolo Saga outfit.

Never thought about size of Rice Cooker before, but yeah, Tenshinhan showing up with a broken with a broken Rice Cooker was huge derp. At least the anime changes this.

Speaking of which Tenshinhan, he got Worfed way too quickly in my opinion. As for his pride overcoming his common sense, that seems to happen to him quite a bit.

I will say Goku killing Drum reminded me of Gohan's killing of the Cell Jrs though, I wonder if the Cell Jr deaths were a homage?

The Dog-Mayor shows up later in the Cell Saga and references this fight, but I think that might be filler.

For fun, I call the move that Goku uses to "kill" Piccolo the OOZARU FANG FIST!!!

No one gives a shit about Chaozu. Goku could have Potara fused with him in the Buu Arc, but doesn't even consider it. Well, Toei allowed Chaozu to get his revenge on Piccolo later on.

Yeah, it bothers me that Yamcha does NOTHING here (but I do like how you mentioned Fred again). Couldn't he have at least thrown a nunchuck at Piccolo or used a suprise Kamehameha to hit Piccolo so Piccolo drops Ten? I admit that is a bit of a stretch, but I'd like to see him do something. I noticed how Yamcha is paired with female characters a lot though. I guess he's a lot like me then. :P

Well, I always go full dissection. That's the name of the game.

But while there aren't many chapters left, a LOT of new ideas and characters are introduced in them. Plus, I have to give all of my overall thoughts and critiques. So, yeah, it turned out there was enough to fill out two more videos. It surprised me too.

However, if I happen to realize an overwhelming need to trim my scripts in the next few days/weeks, who knows... =P

Huh, just watched this again and I realized that the 22nd Budokai, Piccolo Daimao, and 23rd Budokai all end with Goku using his body as a weapon to attack the big bad.

That accent you did at the end was unexpected. It made me think of Fargo. Was that what you were going for?

On the Mafuba, I forgot to mention. In the anime, Tenshinhan's Rice Cooker isn't broken so he attempts to use it on Piccolo. However, Drum intercepts and Tenshinhan begins to seal him away instead. Right as Drum is about to be sealed away, Piccolo destroys the Rice Cooker which prevents Drum from being sealed and saves Tenshinhan from dying of recoil. Later, Tenshinhan plays a crucial role in Goku beating Piccolo, so Piccolo saving Tenshinhan's life led to his own downfall.

The anime just opened a can of worms by doing that.

Master Roshi missed his container. He dies...
Tenshinhan's container was destroyed by outside influence. He doesn't die...That doesn't make any sense.

When Piccolo and God later used Mafuba, it didn`t affect any of them, so i guess, when you are strong enough, you can use Mafuba...if i ever have a chance to ask Mr.Toriyama a question, that would be it :) As for fight itself, while i really liked it, i hated final, Piccolo was so stupid, he could just blast Goku away, but no, he had to do it in spectacular way. As for arrive too late in battle, in my opinion, it was still less embarassing, when everyone was so scared of battle damaged Piccolo Jr. that scene made everyone look really pathetic.

Kami later uses the Mafuba only to have Piccolo reverse it. Piccolo is just fine.
