Kind of sucks that Funimation has to go without these, but I'm grateful for what we're getting.

Leaving the title of the song randomly in Japanese feels kinda awkward to me. You could go with something like ‘The greatest of all time’, which would fit the syllables and translate it perfectly.

Reminds me of my own stuff.
For a thread on the French forum, I created French versions of the songs, though I didn't adapt the whole songs, just what can actually be heard in the openings/endings.
Amazingly enough, it did end up being recorded and video-mixed for real. It feels surreal when your creation ends up being really sung and mixed by guys having the propers gear and skills!

I was faithful to the original meaning intended all along the songs, but I did dodge any direct Dragon Ball reference though, as the openings/endings are meant to be short versions of proper singles, and I can't see a proper single meant for a wide western audience with Kame Hame Ha being mentionned, no radio would air that.
