So watching Kai when it was on Nicktoons I SWEAR there was a version of when Goku was afraid of the needle he thought he was going to get after being beaten by ginyu. But in the uncut version it's cut.

I doubt you're correct considering if it wasn't in the Japanese version it wouldn't be in the English (Buu saga aside) but giving you the benefit of the doubt maybe Nicktoons wanted to make known the fact that Goku has fears just like all the kids watching?

Couldn't be. I've dissected every episode and compared the uncut version to the Nicktoons version to see what was changed.

They aired the uncut version of 98 on Nicktoons. 18 said pissed. I remember clearly.

That HAS to be their biggest slip up since Dende's "Don't piss off the God of Love" from the 1999 version (not Remastered).
