Eh, the artwork in PTETSS was pretty good but the actual animation was piss poor. The definition of low budget.

I hated the beams in the RB2 special. So wobbly and unfirm. Really ugly, especially Son Goku's Kamehameha.

Agreed. In addition, I don't like how beams are emitted from palms. It's my understanding that beams in DB are extended ki auras surrounding hands or entire bodies except for some cases like Zarbon's.

Maybe, but it wouldn't generate so much despair even if Goku in time surpassed Beerus and Whis because of his Godly powers, just because Goku is somehow a child of gentle parents, like we see it in the Dragon Ball Minus.

I agree! But the point is that I do not think Goku would turn evil after all. And Beerus said Goku can surpass him/equal him one day.

That's his point. We don't know if Beerus is gonna be awake, or if Whis would be willing to beat Goku. As gods, they would only interfere if Goku (or any villain) had the power to destroy the universe, like Boo.

The only way i can see one of them interfering is if there is no one left alive to fight Goku which i dout will get to that if we get this kind of story

I think a commom enemy will show up. Maybe Beerus and Whis will also take part beside Goku and maybe Vegeta. We have a Godly dimensional battle, war... after all.

I know this is a really out field "revive" theory, but zombies? Or is that too close to the Garlic filler? It'd create despair alright, and they're hard to beat for reasons other than strength. I dunno. Just throwing it out there, not overly serious with this theory.

Before Minus I would've said sure, but now I'm uncertain about it as what little we saw of him didn't seem particularly evil or threatening. He looked frightened at being sent away in that ship, and we don't know what caused him to battle Gohan Sr. He's a different character from Gokû, but in terms of personality it's hard to tell how much due to how little he's present. He doesn't even have any dialogue.

I don't think it's possible to bring back to life a lost personality, though. It's not like it's a character who was killed, so I imagine if Shenlong was asked to bring back Kakarrot, he would say "Son Gokuu, who is also known as Kakarrot, is still alive."

I can bet, that the worst wish won't be anything with SSJ God revival, Son Goku going evil or restoring some of the Z villain.

My bet is on wish, that will greatly shake the mechanisms on which the known universe is working.
Something, that will sound harmless when wishing for it, but won't result in anything nice.
As it will be about reviving someone, it may be someone who died or vanished aeons ago, who probably won't adapt to the world as it is now in DB.
Or someone who can meddle with how the universe works.

Let's see, I hope we will get some more solid info before Christmas!

If we use the timeline for BoG promotional release information, we should expect some concrete information (such as a title and poster) around November time, I'm hoping we see some sooner though.

I definitely expect something by mid-December, if only because of Toei and Jump's end of the year events.
November would be nice though.
Earlier than November would be amazing, but my hopes aren't too high that news will break that quickly.

The way they depicted the beams since that special seemed to have carried over in the most recent animation as well and is shared by the aura. I really don't like the wispy look or the weird particle effects they've added to them.
