I'm not sure why you guys are digging that Trunks voice. He sounds like a plain boy. Is that why, maybe? He sounds miles from the Japanese version, actually he sounded closer to that before the VA. changed her take on the character.

While I admit that I haven't heard any of Kusao's take in Boo Kai...the further away we get from his original Z take, the better, in my books. His young Trunks has always just sounded so...nasally, to me. Though he did sound better in Battle of Gods, a bit.

All right, can't say I agre with that Always thought it fit perfectly.

Shenlong regarding meeting Beerus, "I've heard things." did make me chuckle. Also Gokû mentioning how this is the longest he's heard Shenlong talk for was also pretty good.

Yep! It's so leas filter/pitch down and closer to Utsumi's performance (although for Shen Long their voices were always pretty similar initially).

Schemmel sounds really good in that clip. Definitely the child-like/wondering tone he should have in that scene is there.

And I agree with the others, Goku/Schemmel was pretty jokes in this clip the wink face and when goes say "I haven't heard Shenron talk for this long" ahh great stuff. Also, Sabat's Piccolo sounds pretty decent too, really can't wait to watch the dub in it's entirety! Come on Manga release some dates already!

Thanks! . Honestly the dub for the film is looking great. The way Sabat delivered the "Shhh he's explaining it" line made me crack up.

Wow, Schemmel nails Goku here. Holy shit. He sounds so high pitched and childlike, that's fantastic! I don't often praise the dude but huge props to the guy for this scene.

It's a shame he can't channel that kinda performance into the more serious scenes. He slips right back into old Goku as soon as things get tough.

Side note: It was weird hearing 'Shenron', I totally forgot they didn't use Shen Long in the dub.

Another fun fact:
Chronologically, he isn't even once referred to by the name Shenron until around Kami's first appearance. He's just called the Eternal Dragon before that.

The joke there was that Piccolo thinks anyone who has a girlfriend at that young of an age is impure. Implying that Goku is impure because he had ChiChi as a girlfriend at a young age. The only question is if Piccolo is referring to 23rd Tenkaichi Budokai young Goku or if someone told Piccolo about Goku already being engaged since he first met ChiChi as a kid. Both Goku's are technically young.

A few pages back, we were trying to figure out if Vegeta saying 'Why must you always destroy?' was accurate or not. Hakai is mentioned twice, so it seems like it is. I'm rewatching so it's fresh in my mind when I go see it Tuesday. Also there's no redrawn animation, I was mistaken. Sorry for the phone capture.

Huh...is it just me, or is it kind of weird to hear them say 'Eternal Shenron'? I could be wrong, but I'm pretty sure it was always just 'Shenron' or 'Eternal Dragon' in the dub in the past, never a mixture of the two. I'm not complaining or anything, it's just...it sounds weird to me.
