The only releases I see coming from FUNi is new material and more Dragon Boxes (probably un-released specials). We already know we are getting Kai.

Pretty cool menu and I now realize that they are putting the trailer music. I liked that when it ended the clock moved Actually I like the menus on the Blu-Rays a lot.

Yeah I would appreciate some screens too. Mine doesn't arrive till next week, I just hope there aren't anymore of those blurry shots that were in a few eps of S5.

Level Sets and DBoxes have nice menu's too, love the addition of the scouter too. Orange Bricks seems kind of lame compared to the other three.

I'm still on the ropes of buying season 3 due to the fact that the dub sounds horrible during that season but I might buy it in September.

I would almost definitely get S3, yes the dub is pretty bad compared to S1,2 and the later seasons, but Goku going SS and the entire fight with Freeza is just way to good to pass up especially if you are collecting these, there is also the Japanese option if the dub is irritating you (ngl I was thinking about switching to Japanese but no U.S score [despite liking the SK score in Kai] so I stuck through lol)

I don't know off hand but it occured when Goku and Gohan went into the HTC (or RoSaT if you will) and lasted a couple episodes therein. Metal, Ajay or qjz one of them noticed it a few pages back when discussions about s5 screenshots were had, it was so unwatchable that I had to skip. Luckily it didn't last long if memory serves correct.

Yes, and by extent, it was also absent in the dub track of the FUNi Dragon Box five.

Yup I've made a thread about this almost 2 weeks ago. Toei removed all of the insert songs and I don't know why. It just ruins the experience for me and that is one of the downsides of watching the dub with the original Japanese music.

I have part 4 of Kai for that scene but it would be nice to own the original version of that saga as well.

There's a remedy to this: Switch to the Japanese audio and watch the Ginyu/Freeza fight in that version. That way you don't have to worry about green voice actors, music replacement, and questionable dialogue rewrites that spit in the face of the characters.

All the DBZ series audio is near enough the same across all releases. Toei destroyed the master tapes and this what we're stuck with unless you're fortunate enough to own recordings from the original broadcast.

The audio on the Season Sets is slightly remastered...in the sense that they're removed some hiss and EQ'd out some of the muffle.

I think they are alittle worse. They dont sound too good on the level sets

The audio on the level sets for the japanese version sounds just like the audio on the single disc releases, which is worse than the audio on the dragon box.
