What Would You Want In A Burst Limit 2?
I Know Dragonball Xenoverse isnt even put yet but i've been recently playing Burst Limit and man....this game could have been great if we had a Sequel with an improved version of the RS system combining the elements from SBAR, More characters, Better story mode etc. Share your thoughts please....

If we were going to get a sequel then I would imagine we would get one by now. The game is six years old, DBZ is not a type of a franchise that gets sequels many years later.

That wasnt really the question. I asked IF there were to be a Burst Limit 2, what improvements would you want Dimps to make.

Add the teleport system from Shin Budokai 2, make it so that there is 3 specials instead of only 2 (down circle for example), get back to the directional inputs mid combo (/\/\->[][]<-/\).

Have Dragonball characters instead of just DBZ characters with Videl and Mr. Satan as bonus characters. (traditional fighting fits DB better than DBZ/GT imo)
Add in jumping and crouching mechanics, with characters having multiple combos and throws
Bring back B3's stamina system
Get rid of Drama Pieces and bring back capsules
I basically want Burst Limit 2 to be a deeper 3D fighter ( rivaling the likes of Tekken/DOA), while maintaining the Budokai feel.

Manual Ki charge, "complete" DB and DBZ character roster (movies, specials and OVAs included, but no GT), optional costumes with manga colours, smaller HUD and much more stage variety.

Why no GT? It would add variety, theres some pretty good characters like Goku jr, vegeta jr, Ledgic and the shadow dragons/Baby.

I want DB, the rest of Z (+ Future Gohan, Cooler, Janemba, Gogeta and Bulma), GT, BoG characters. Also, better online netcode. Everything else could remain the same and it'll still be a great game.

I'd mainly want a completed game with lots of replay value, BL felt pretty unfinished. Maybe a few more characters stemming the entire series, battle features improved including the broken ki meter and perhaps more in-game options, more game modes and a much better online experience (BL had so much lag it was unplayable) and also something a lot more interesting for the main game mode other than a crappy linear story mode we've played too many times; give me something like Budokai 2 and I'm cool.
One thing I resent the DBZ games of the near last decade is that they've left a dull sentiment in my mind regarding the DB franchise. When I think of DBZ now I think of the stiff, dull, characterless representations that Spike have created. I still feel most warmth to DBZ Budokai 2 out of every home console DBZ game I've ever played; it was my first, but it was also perhaps one of the most unique DB games I've ever played, I'm filled with limitless nostalgia towards B2.

I'd like every transformation, costume, and character from DB Heroes. Besides that I really just want the mechanics of Shin Budokai 2 with the capsule system of Infinite Worlds. Oh, and maybe a What If system based on the story mode where you can deviate from the canon route at any time, with the option given at the end of the match so that you fight someone else.
Also, instead of the drama pieces cutting into the flow, we could have something like the Naruto Ninja Storm games where actions and animations aren't always cutscenes.

Well the main thing i would want them to focus on is the Gameplay. I would love an Improved version of the Engine from SBAR.
ki Cancing would add a little more spice to the Gameplay imo. As for characters, i say a good 60 would be good, hell if they have left over time maybe they could more .

Burst limit should be more about the roster itself.

Uum, my statement may seem a bit controversial, but, DragonBall Xenoverse is Burst Limit 2, or at least as close as we'll ever get to one.
Xenoverse is the 1st DBZ game coming out by Dimps since Burst Limit, and this game I'm seeing as an "evolution" of sorts from DImps style of DBZ games. There are certain gameplay features that carry over from Burst Limit to Xenoverse such as:
~Cel-Shaded style Graphics
~No Ki charging option
~The 3D scope of battle environments look the same, only difference is that its an over the shoulder perspective rather than 2D persepctive.
~Moves such as "Heavy Smash" appear to be returning.
~The fights at glance are more focused on the PvP or the players fighting each other rather than hardcore destructible environments that BT3 and RB2 were famous for.
~The demo music is even playing Burst Limit music for crups sake.
I know this is not a shin budokai game, but the artistic direction is making Xenoverse look like a spiritual successor to Burst Limit. Or at least thats how I see it.

Dimps said they are finding a way to implement the Ki charging element during an interview. It's coming back.
