I'm pretty sure I didn't admit to crying over anything in this thread, and yet I still think you're coming across as exceptionally rude, judgmental, and arrogant. Just like your diatribes against Pilaf in Battle of Gods, it reads very strongly of someone too insecure to be watching a kids' program and having to justify it by making it and you seem as "hardcore" as possible. And, no, I really don't think you're sorry at all.

I haven't really outright cried at any point in the series (not that I think there's anything wrong with that, and I'm not going to criticize or ridicule anyone who has), but there are touching moments in the series that have moved me to the point of slightly tearing up, my favorite example being when Goku was reunited with Grandpa Gohan. With the way the whole scene was executed, plus the voice performances and musical cue that accompany it in the TV series, I honestly don't know why someone wouldn't be moved by it to the point of getting a little teary-eyed.

Why are you assuming we're embarrassed?

Again not you specifically, a couple of people had admitted to crying over the show before I came by and nonchalantly said I didn't because it's just a cartoon. They were quick to accuse me and justify it surely because they felt embarrased. If you told a friend you'd seen a movie and cried then they laughed you'd feel the same way.
OK. I asked. He said he cried to Lion King. That's for kids.

Well you don't have to lie. I probably cried when I watched a Disney movie but I was 4 and not 24. At the very least it's somewhat understandable for someone to cry over The Lion King because Mufasa doesn't come back to life and it was clearly made out to be more emotional than any scene in DBZ.
I wasn't insulted. Stop assuming things.

You said it was rude so you must have felt insulted in some way. If anyone did feel insulted then the same applies to them.
I'm not an adult. I don't care what you think. It's the way you conducted yourself. I didn't respond to you until you called people sissies.

If you don't care then shut up and stop whining about it. You're being a sissy over it now kinda like how you were just because a Monkey took Goku's apple for it's kid

Way too far. Way, waaaaaay too far. I don't see where you get off talking to your fellow forum-members or fellow human beings like this, and while I have no authority to reprimand you, I am of the opinion that your behavior is disgusting.

Um I didn't lie. If you want I can make a video or show you a text message. Since I'm a liar. But please get rid of the attitude. I don't want this topic to be closed. The original idea for the topic was for all Db not just Dbz.
You said it was rude so you must have felt insulted in some way. If
No. I wasn't. It was rude. Doesn't mean I felt a way.

The Apple scene didn't make me cry litteraly. It made me make a connection with Goku because I've been in a similar situation. I will just ignore the first sentence.

Surprise, surprise, you missed my point even though it was clear that it wasn't about watching it. You found an online forum and discuss the show constantly. That's different than if you just watched it.

You only think you have a point, you don't actually have one. I'm also on a superhero site where I talk about the Marvel movies a lot but I've also never cried watching those either. In addition to that I post frequently on the MGS board on IGN and have yet to cry playing them.
Stop insulting people.

Stop being so sensitive then. People that cry over DBZ are kinda sissies, what do you expect me to say.
We get it, you didn't cry, but no need to puff yourself up

This is the problem, that you think I'm puffing myself up just because I didn't cry watching DBZ. You make it sound like I'm trying to act like a macho guy whose saying he wouldn't cry even if his own mother died. No I just don't cry watching cartoons like all the other 24 year old males that don't cry watching cartoons.
You keep bringing it up

It's called an example.

For those who literally cried over Db. Did you just get teary eyed or was you crying? Or like myself was a figure of speech?

That's not the same at all. Dragon Ball is primarily made for kids but can be enjoyed by anyone. A baby Pilaf drawing a shit is just stupid and childish.
And, no, I really don't think you're sorry at all.

That's because I'm not.
Way too far. Way, waaaaaay too far. I don't see where you get off talking to your fellow forum-members or fellow human beings like this, and while I have no authority to reprimand you, I am of the opinion that your behavior is disgusting.

If you think that's "disgusting" then you might not want to interact with people outside ever because if one of them were to call you a douchebag you might end up committing suicide over it.

Seriously you guys here are way too sensitive for your own good, get a grip.

I don't think this back-and-forth conversation is very constructive. Could we try to keep this thread alive?

Alright. Bullza anything you say at this point won't make you not sound like an asshole. It's not up to you to determine who's a sissy or not. Like I said earlier, people are built differently and respond to different things in different ways. Like you, I haven't cried watching DBZ or any cartoon, but that doesn't mean I'm not supposed to. So if others have "cried" or "been touched" or whatever, it's not wrong or "non-adult like" it's just how they responded to it.

On-topic, I don't think I've ever teared up in Dragon Ball, but I've gotten chills quite a few times. Piccolo's deaths in the Saiyan arc and in GT, Goku meeting his Grandpa, and the GT ending all left me with some feels.

I'm not disagreeing with you. But do think GT ending should used better flashback in terms of Z?

I really hate to come back into this, but since it's come back up again - Bullza, you are so far out of line that it's mind-boggling. You are in NO position to determine what's "sissy" or not. Just because you can't seem to wrap your mind around the fact that some people aren't rocks and are in touch with their emotions - yes, even in regards to a cartoon - doesn't make you any better than them, nor does it make you any more 'adult'. Again I stress that the true adults are the ones that let people be who they are and like what they like without judging them for it. The way you're acting right now though? That makes you the biggest child of all.

Well, I don't know if it was the actual scenes, so much as it was knowing that it was the end of the series I had invested so much into. I can't even remember what the actual flashbacks were, to tell the truth.

I never said I didn't understand it or that was I was better than anyone. I said people can do whatever they want and if they want to cry over it then go ahead. All I said was that I found it laughable that people would cry over it and they're kind of a sissy because of it which is my opinion which nobody else be caring about.
The way you're acting right now though? That makes you the biggest child of all.

This reversal of yours isn't gonna work when we're talking about people crying over a kids cartoon. There's no real way to spin that.

It was in this order
Goku meeting Bulma
Pilfar and Oolong wish
Goku going Ssj
Gohan killing Cell
Goten meeting Goku
Bebi Arc
Evil dragons arc.

Ah, ok.

Well, like I said, it wasn't the flashbacks used so much as what they represented. Not to mention, the rest of the episode was one of the best ones in the series as well.

I only cried once, and that was when I was watching the show back in elementary school, and it was the scene where Gohan wishes Dende goodbye at the end of the Freeza saga. I'm not the kind to get emotional at fiction but that just got me.

Future Gohan's death in the anime Trunks Special proves you wrong.
