It could be that, but it's probably still hopeless now, even if they wait a few more years. I really don't think they'll sell well when whole seasons are already on blu ray for the same price, in widescreen (which means the same thing as HD ;))

I'd probably go for that, but I'm waiting to see if Manga UK do a release and how it compares.

would £35 be enough to tempt you?

Widescreen is the problem. But sadly theres people who have that "Urrgh it dont fit my tv this is terrible" mindset. Its funny really. Funimation released Eureka 7 in bluray a few months back and they kept it in their 4:3 aspect ratio. I don't get why they keep doing this to DBZ. It makes me all the more worried for when Cowboy Bebop comes out in December. Funimation better not screw that release.

Back in my day we payed $25 for three episodes on a DVD, and we liked it dagnabbit!

But on a serious note, the series is almost 300 episodes long, approximately $2 an episode seems fairly reasonable to me and I see no reason people wouldn't buy it if the market wasn't ridiculously oversaturated with alternate versions of the same thing already.

Many members of this forum would, myself included. The problem is getting everyone outside of Kanzenshuu to buy them.
Hats off to you then, you folks definitely earn the title of Hardcore lol.
Only way I can see the public buying is if FUNi done what the did with Kai and so Season sets after X amount of time for the price of one level.

They didn't fix that mistake. Goku's "me" is still missing.

Yeah sadly I found that out. I have no freaking idea why they felt the need to take that out? it doesn't make sense at all? at-least to me it doesn't. LOL
The Dragonboxes are like a middle aged woman who still looks good through simply taking good care of her skin and body with maybe a tiny bit of makeup while the Orange Bricks are like a middle aged woman who get's 50 tons of botox, makeup and plastic surgery in order to look younger and as a result looks even worse. ~ ringworm128

As I've said before, It's probably an oversight. I guess if the dub audio was remixed for these sets, then it was glossed over again.

Though it's kinda weird that they missed that mistake. They fixed all the dub audio mistakes that were caused when mixing for the orange bricks till that point. I would say that Goku's missing "me" is the most well known of them all and I figured that whoever is in charge of fixing errors would've heard about it first.

Maybe they don't have that original portion of the audio anymore?

There's adult collectors' who value very much what they're buying so $30 for 17 boxes isn't really a lot considering you'd end up paying $80-$100 or more in Japan for each one.

For once I'm glad Dragon Ball isn't in the hands of Aniplex or you'd be shocked with the high prices.

So I got Season 6 in the post today and once again the slipcover is damaged on the sides. You can't really tell in the picture. It's rather annoying to be honest. I wish Amazon would take more care when handling packages.

Haha!! Everyone's reaction to Goku when he rejects going into the HTC/RoSaT was priceless haha!!

Also Vegeta's face when Bulma is looking for Trunks when there all at her house haha!! ahh brilliant stuff.

Also, was the guy who voiced Bulma's Dad kept for Kai (English Dub that is), I like his voice.

Chris Forbis voiced the character in Dragon Ball and Dragon Ball Z. In Kai, he was voiced by Mark Stoddard.

For the record, the character has always been voiced by Joji Yanami in Japanese.

A guy on his comment section asked [GokuT23] how to make Blu-ray rips to his PC and this was his response:
You can't that the only problem with ripping it. When you rip it you lose the hd quality and the hd sound.
He certainly never heard of MakeMKV (I think DVDFab also does it). *sigh*
