I don't really know. All I can tell you about Shiru is that (s)he is mentioned on the last set of scans we have. You can see them by scrolling up on the previous page to till you see the pair of images posted by TheGameTagerZ. Shiru is teased on the bottom.
Oh, and thanks.

Hi, I'm considering buying this game as well as the first one, but I can't read japanese. Those of you who have played this game or the first one, I need your advice, do you think I could still manage
to play it even if i can't read the dialogue and menus? Is it relatively easy to get into?
thanks

Its pretty easy honestly. I can make a guide with images once I beat the game.nicolas_3d wrote:Hi, I'm considering buying this game as well as the first one, but I can't read japanese. Those of you who have played this game or the first one, I need your advice, do you think I could still manage

Also only buy the second game because DBH2 comes with the same story as the first game.

Re: "Dragon Ball Heroes: Ultimate Mission 2" (JP 3DS)
Is there a way right now to play import games on a north america 3ds? I know that the console is region locked but with other consoles I used to by some piece of software that would let me play.
Back in the day with my gamecube I had a disc called a Free Loader, is there something similar for the 3ds?

I heard there was something for the 3DS, but it was risky because it could ruin your whole system.nicolas_3d wrote:Is there a way right now to play import games on a north america 3ds? In a world where Harukanaru Goku Densetsu got a western release, THIS needs a western release. The marketting for this almost writes itself.

02./00. [3DS] Dragon Ball Heroes: Ultimate Mission 2 <TBL> (Bandai Namco Games) {2014.08.07} (¥6.145) - 81.584 / NEW (without Digital numbers)
Great numbers for Heroes, as expected. It outsold most of the recent DBZ games and it's not even a fighter.

That game pretty much flop over here in the US. I always forgot that game even exist (I do wish they pick a better title then some weeboish title). Namco Bandai most likely thinks that game like Heroes won't sell well in America since it's a game made to sell cards and those cards don't exist in the US. The game is pretty much made for the Japanese market.Rukura wrote:In a world where Harukanaru Goku Densetsu got a western release, THIS needs a western release. That arguement can apply to a number of other games that STILL got western releases. (Does the original title that they just didn't translate qualify as "weeboish"? That term really needs to just go away). Also Yu-Gi-Oh!, Pokemon and Magic The Gathering say hi.Hellspawn28 wrote:That game pretty much flop over here in the US. Is Ultimate Mission 2 available on the eShop? Nintendo's site seems to indicate that it's not.Nightstar1994 wrote:02./00. [3DS] Dragon Ball Heroes: Ultimate Mission 2 <TBL> (Bandai Namco Games) {2014.08.07} (¥6.145) - 81.584 / NEW (without Digital numbers)

Famitsu reports that the game has sold anywhere between 40-60% of its initial shipment. Dengeki has gone even further, saying it has moved 45%. That means Bandai Namco has about another ~80k on store shelves. Obon and continued advertising through Dragon Ball Kai should help things, but I'm not convinced it'll reach the same heights the first game did. UM2 has debuted worse and it currently isn't facing stock problems.

There was an official Bandai-related page I dug up somewhere that indicated it would be. Forget exactly where that was, now, though...Super Saiyan Prime wrote:Is Ultimate Mission 2 available on the eShop? Nintendo's site seems to indicate that it's not.

Seems like this is doing greatly.
I like those numbers.

A world without Dragon Ball is just boring.

Re: "Dragon Ball Heroes: Ultimate Mission 2" (JP 3DS)
As much I like the Super Sonic Warriors games, I think that series is dead for good. The second game didn't seem to do very well which is why a third game never came out like a year or two later.
If DBZ card games in the past several years didn't do well in the US then I can see why Namco Bandai US won't bother Heroes in the US.
I hate the idea for Harukanaru Goku Densetsu because I always found it hard to pronounce in English. With Budokai, it was a simple title and it was not a hard title to pronounce for most English speakers. Yeah trading card games like Magic, Yu-Gi-Oh and Pokemon are still big, but those are different. Those are more mainstream then DBZ. DBZ's card game was popular back in the late 90's and early 2000's because DBZ was still a big thing at the time. I remember when they brought back the whole card game a few years back as "Collectible Card Game" and I remember it bombed. I also remember the new card set that came out during Ultimate Uncut's run didn't do very well neither.Rukura wrote: That arguement can apply to a number of other games that STILL got western releases. Re: "Dragon Ball Heroes: Ultimate Mission 2" (JP 3DS)
Dimps did develop this release. Perhaps the first game's poor technical performance on 3DS persuaded Bandai Namco to get the people that created the technology.

Re: "Dragon Ball Heroes: Ultimate Mission 2" (JP 3DS)
On the new Arcade Heroes trailer of JM6 (With Dr. Wheelo and the Biomen in particular) there was a QR code for UM2?! It was covered with text though. I think it's unfortunately a code that will appear on the arcade game's screen after you beat it, so you can bring your 3DS along and scan it.
Although, does this mean that JM6 content is coded into Ultimate Mission 2?
I have a feeling that we'll see SSJ4 Broly here too.

For someone who doesn't know Japanese this game seems pretty inaccessible due to how it seems to require the player to know the language or else, it'll just be random luck.
Screens from the Miiverse community:

While Bandai's not going to release this outside Japan at least they're bringing an awesome Dragon Ball game to consoles and PC next year.
