Super DBZ 2 or a new Budokai engine game.
I'm still hoping for a BT4-like game with Heroes roster
It's Xenoverse, and technically speaking Tenkaichi 4 does exist, look on the rear cover of Raging Blast 1.
A 3DS game I can actually play.
If your 3DS isn't up to date and you're willing to hack it (purchasing a pirate card) then you can play it on your 3DS.
FUNimation 2015 Releases I want:
- Kai 2.0 on Blu-ray

I would not understand a single word. Why can't they just localize heroes? It's so annoying that they don't.

I agree, though I'm still hoping Xenoverse comes out on the Wii U. I'd rather not have to save up to get a PS4 for Dragonball games.

After Xenoverse has had all its sequels or isn't revelant anymore... Zenkai Batlle Royale on the next-gen systems and PC, I mean, I understand they can't localize J-Stars nor Gundam due to licencing hell, but they obviously want that style of gameplay here in the west (Rise of Incarnates is a freaking re-skinned EXVS) so why don't they bring something that already has a fanbase? Heck they can even go the Rise of Incarnates route and go F2P and all we had to pay was for cosmetic stuff (which Zenkai has a ton as we all know).

Do you guys think that they'll make a XV sequel the following year it's released, or a "placeholder" so to speak? I've had a theory that BoZ and whatever came before it was only produced so as to make time for a more resourced title, ala DB Xenoverse. This is due to mostly to the questionable quality of titles as of late, and also Treevax always hinting saying "If you want a better title you might have to wait ^^" or something akin; then we've found out development plans for this one have been in the works for at least two years :D . If this is the case, and they want the sequel to shine just as much as this one looks like it will, one year might not be enough time. Who knows, at this very moment another title of varying genre could be being developed to fill 2016s(?) place. I'd love it if a quality action adventure or RPG was being developed. That way we'd have quality and variety year in year out, sounds like a good system.

Well if the question is what I would like to see after Xenoverse, taking into consideration it gets a development period of at least 2 years, then I'd like to see a fully open world RPG of the first third of the original DB series. I can't say where I'd like them to start and end at, been awhile (I'm currently rewatching the series), but there could be about 3 in the series (before DBZ). They can go on to DBZ afterwards if they want to, but I think the DB series much better fits the RPG theme, as there is limited flying and more of a sense of adventure. Goku could still use his Nimbus, although when he does it prevents him from training stats and getting stronger, so there is incentive to travel by foot; other than to explore the world! There should also be a pretty good, fun battle system, also making use of Goku's power pole. I can imagine a really great title and series like this, given it's allowed enough time and effort, could be amazing. I'm more a casual gamer, so am unable to say what kind of game I would compare my vision to, but suggestions are welcome.

If the question is what I'd like the see, given a development period of 1 year? Nothing, save us the despair and them the wasted money and talent. I've seen enough.

What're the licensing issues with Gundam?

I agree with BN most likely releasing a "Placeholder" game after Xenoverse, isnt it in their contract to make a DB game every year?

Isn't it the same case as J-stars as in multple publishers own the multiple shows and the fact that it uses the anime music? Or does Scamco not release it here just because but then fuck us by localizing the Distany Warriors games?

Yeah, not really, no.
What the cover says is absolutely irrelevant. That phrase is a vacuous stretch. A complete and utter regression is not a third sequel.

What more could one possibly want from a Tenkaichi 4, anyway? I don't think the frog on Planet Namek demonstrated a move set.

Me either. Its funny how the Tenkaichi Fan boys say BN cant do anything with Budokai and that it reached its potential while they sit there and say Theres so much to add for a Tenkaichi 4 -_-

An HD remaster of the Budokai Tenkaichi/Sparking trilogy given the Master Chief Collection treatment (1080p, 60fps, added multiplayer, etc). Gives more time for developers to work on the next new video game, and in all honesty, an HD remaster of the Tenkaichi series is long overdue at this point. What Bandai did with the Budokai series was a complete botched experiment (Budokai 1 and 3, but no 2? Really? And thanks for the unnecessary censorship)., and the fans have long begged for it. It's kinda baffling how long it's taking them but idk, there's a reason for everything I guess.

Either Raging Blast 3 (I must be the only one who likes Spike and the Raging Blast series here), or a sequel/remake of the Legacy of Goku series with either GT or the material from the upcoming movies.

Not the only one haha, I was shocked myself to find out that the Spike games aren't very popular around here. I even opted for a HD remaster of the Tenkaichi trilogy on my post above.

I guess enough time has passed to say that other than the obligatory Xenoverse 2, I would be open to other options.

--Raging Blast 3
--Budokai Origins (Pilaf to Piccolo Junior)
--A better version of Sagas
--Zenkai Battle Royale port (eventually)
--Dragon Ball Musou (Less like Pirate Warriors and more like Hyrule Warriors)
Direct translations of the Korean DB Online timeline and guidebook.
My personal "canon" and BP list. (Coming Soon)

Dynasty Warriors with Dragon Ball would be sick. We've already had the experience of fighting the good fights, but Dynasty Warriors would be perfect for capturing the spirit of moments like Goku blowing away multiple Red Ribbon Army soldiers, or invading Frieza's ship and taking out hoards of henchman, or taking out Babidi's henchman in his spaceship. I think there's a lot of potential there.

The Raging Blast series is dead and I doubt fans want to see another game from Spike. I think DBZK is going to be our last game from Spike for now. I will welcome Dimps back to making yearly DBZ games again.

If Xenoverse bombs, then most definitely I'd want a Tenkaichi HD collection, although considering what they did to the Budokai one I won't hold my breath for it turning out any good.

Tenkaichi HD, wouldn't be bad as long as it's not a rehash, and it is an actual COLLECTION. Although in my opinion the chance of Xenoverse failing is like 0.000000000001% ( even that is not enough zeros.) :problem:
"There are many types of monsters that scare me: Monsters who cause troubles without showing themselves, monsters who abduct children, monsters who devour dreams, monsters who suck blood… and then, monsters who tell nothing but lies. Lying monsters are a real nuisance: They are much more cunning than others: They pose as humans even though they have no understanding of the human heart; they eat even though they’ve never experienced hunger; they study even though they have no interest in academics; they seek friendship even though they do not know how to love. If I were to encounter such monsters, I would likely be eaten by them… because in truth, I am that monster."

Raging Blast is a bland series, let it die. The reason Spike decided to develop Ultimate Tenkaichi was because they ran out of ideas. Their sales bombed with Raging Blast 2 and they didn't know why, and they didn't know what more they could do. They glossed up the graphics, polished the game as much as they could, added plenty of characters including characters never before seen with a newly rendered anime. Yet it still failed, why asks Namco Bandai. If Spike had promising ideas they would've gone with a Raging Blast 3, but what more could they do, add GT and a hell load more characters, original story mode - but hey, wait a second, they're just rehashing exactly what they did with the Tenkaichi series. It's the same old sh** all over again. The only difference is, they tried to make the Raging Blast series a bit more solid than the Tenkaichi series, but problem with that is damn it it's boring. You couldn't play Tenkaichi 3 competitively with mechanics like Z counter, but honestly who's really playing these games for that reason? Oh well done, you can memorise every combo sequence and follow up in Raging Blast 2, congrats. The game has no character, no flare, it doesn't even feel like a DB game you seen the menu screen, you heard the tracks, and that darned galaxy mode is the worst offender. Honestly I've never felt so alone in a game before, I wanted to switch that crap off within 10 minutes of purchasing and playing it.

I'd rather see a Budokai Tenkaichi 4 than a Raging Blast 3. No seriously, I would prefer them to go back to developing games for the playstation 2, and looking forward to playing as bulma and the turtle. Let Raging Blast die.
