I bought all three knowingly of the situation but with all the artwork and colouring the books have they're well worth for the animation itself.
I'd dare to say that I like more the artwork from the Full Colours than the Complete Illustrations.
FUNimation 2015 Releases I want:

The Full Colour volumes are amazing, and in an ideal world that is the Manga collection I want the most. If they at some point continue the release I will buy them, but for now I've decided to collect the VizBig editions. I know people talk about the censoring, but the quality of the paper as well as the price won me over.
What I would say though is that I have too many incomplete collections of the Manga. If the full colour editions can be complete at some stage I'll be happy with that!

Goku becomes a SS3 for the first time in
chapter 474, volume 40. Vegetto makes his appearance in
chapter 503, volume 42.

Does anyone else think that Viz are holding back on continuing the Color comics because the current 3-in-1's are about to hit the "Z" Arcs?.
Maybe they are concerned that more people will buy the Color versions because the quality is far more superior than the awful current 3-in-'s. Though with the Vizbigs still being printed, I fail to understand why anyone would go for the current publications - unless it is for the Kanzenban covers.

I hope not cause it'll take forever to get the rest seeing as how slow there going with the 3in1's.
The only thing i can think of is they want to release an arc per year so Frieza in 2015,Cell in 2016 and Buu in 2017.
If we don't hear anything by march then i don't think we'll ever.
July 9th 2018 will be remembered as the day Broly became canon.

If even sintzu's starting to lose hope, then it's official: literally every one of us has lost its patience.
Viz recently tweeted they are going to have two new print manga to announce at NYCC, which starts this Thursday 9th October. Not holding out much hope, though.

I didn't know that,Forget march if they don't announce it at comic con they never will.
I don't want to say they won't but if they don't does anyone know why ? We know the first 3 sold very well so sales isn't the issue.
Could it be that Jump doesn't want to give them the rest ? But that's another why.

They did?! I know that we are talking about the Legendary Dragon Ball but I started to think this was the problem.
If it was another shitty remaster from Funi this wouldnt happen, but since its the manga I dont know.

Aaaand yet another blow to our collective hopes. The two new titles were "Tokyo Ghoul" and "So Cute It Hurts!!". They're out in June next year, so it's pretty much guaranteed we'll get no more volumes for the whole of 2015 since Viz likes to announce their new titles no less than 6 months in advance. Most likely, we won't hear any new announcements until Anime Expo 2015 (when they do their announcement deluge), so for the time being... I guess that's it.

Dont know what happened but seems like its time for me to leave the boat.
Continue milking the anime more and leave this manga quality incomplete. When they finally make something worth buying, they dont finish it.
Great.

Yeah, makes little sense. They continue publishing series 100X less popular than Dragon Ball until the end, but this is what they decide to halt after a measly 3 volumes. True, this is (at least) their fourth release, but still... it was by far the best one. The thing that irks me the most is that they continue putting out those crappy 3-in-1, but halt the most high-quality manga they've ever published.
After this... I seriously don't know if I have any hope left regarding the full colors. After all this time... if they really wanted to put them out, they would have announced them already. To continue with the Freeza saga 2 years after the beginning of the Saiyan saga makes little sense to me. So I guess we should just... pack up and move on. Sure hope they do surprise us somewhere along the road, but... I'm definitely not holding my breath.

My guess is like they really dislike having to print with color ink.
Remember, even when the original manga doesn't have many color pages, they already did not put all of the color pages in their closest-to-Kanzenban edition, when those pages are rare enough as it is and use only two colors most of the time!
They don't want to color-print full volumes, which must be the exact same reason why they don't give you the Anime Comics unlike other countries publishing the Kanzenban (Perfect Edition) and animangas (TV and movies) since years.
Color ink is way more costly than just black ink, and maybe the success of the full-color editions was still not enough to their liking to cover the costs, they wanted more out of it.
They'd rather continue with the 3-in-1, which is not only cheaper because it's black and white, but which is also cheaper because of the lack of quality to come up with.

Makes sense, I guess. Simplest reason of all: money. Still, extremely annoying when the worst edition they've ever put out continues until the end and the best one stops after just three volumes. It's like Viz was teasing us: "Hey, look! We've got this extremely gorgeous, high-quality version of the manga. It's great, isn't it? Well, you're not getting any more. See ya!"

Also pretty sure they didn't sell well, at least in retail. Vol 1's sales rank on Barnes&Noble is around 300 thousand.
