Worst Dragon Ball game of all time?

Either Ultimate Battle 22 or Legacy of Goku 1. Hated both of them with a passion.

I can respect Ultimate Blast/Tenkaichi and Battle of Z though, because the former tried to have players experience the show. Unfortunately, Spike tried too hard and forgot that it was supposed to be a game also. Battle of Z, on the other hand, was an attempt at something new. Then Artdink fucked that up by forcing teams throughout the story and not including local co-op or versus. It was nice playing as Battle of Gods characters though.

Tie for me between DBZ Sagas and Battle of Z.
Raging Blast 1 was pretty awful in its own degree as well, but I hold It tied at a second beside Tenkaichi 1.

Taiketsu for me is nostalgically unplayable on a totally different level.

I can understand why you'd think Sagas and Taiketsu are horrible games but RB1 and Battle of Z, really?

RB1's gameplay was broken here and there, plus the camera being unable to follow the opponent was annoying as hell but putting these negatives aside the game works really well and the customisation is some of the best I've seen in a Dragon Ball game.

As for Battle of Z I feel people aren't giving it a chance but if they did they'd enjoy the game, its meat is on the online mode and playing the characters with those awesome cards makes the game a whole lot better. It's a special kind of Dragon Ball game that you only have fun playing online because otherwise it's pretty empty and short (complete the story mode and the offline mode is completed).

I'd might reconsider the worst games in mind. Though I think referincing old games feels pointless and irrelevant because games have evolved passed then. I guess as a whole though, I might change mine to:
Tenkaichi 1 and Ultimate Tenkaichi. Those games are absolutely unplayable. BOZ gets a bit off for me. It isnt that bad for what it is; a poorly made game but it was decent enough to at least feel like a Sagas spiritual sequel.

It seems like when Web Foot tries to make a DBZ game that's not apart of the Legacy of Goku series, it ends up being utter crap . It's a shame that Namco Bandai never hired them to do a remake of Legacy of Goku on the DS or 3DS.

I'm surprised to see that some people here think there's worse Dragon Ball games than that cursed Taiketsu, hell, if I found the game for 50p I'd still refuse to buy it because it's absolutely horrible and the collector in me just won't take this piece of shit in addition to it.

Sure that Ultimate Blast and Kinect's Ultimate Blast wasn't always accurate but to say these two go higher than Tenkai-- Taiketsu is quite a stretch.

I might get some hate for this but I have been playing Dragonball budokai 3 recently and the controls are just god awful. Ever character plays the damn same pretty much. charging ki is just weird. Plus it being 2.5D is just a turn off for me now. Back in the day when it first came out I loved it. But now, after playing tenkaichi 3 I can never go back.

Sagas was also pretty horrible. I mean I still love to play it. But it does not hold up to well and the glitches are just so much fun. I enjoy the hell out of the game but it definitely sucks horribly.

Personally I find B3 really stiff combat wise, but IW fixes that. All characters playing the same? I disagree. What is your defenition of that? People seem to throw that conclusion around real hastefully.

I'm going to guess he mean in terms of combat animations, which for pre Shin Budokai, it's kinda true.

Okay, if thats the argument (though doubt it is) but to say, thats the only thing that bugs me with Dimps but praise with Spike, all the character animations minus special few fight poses all look the same. Everyone has the same stiff looking generic kicks and punches rather than Spike's more visually diverse animations that actually resemble more accurately to how characters moved in the series. That is my peeve, but not enough to trash the game because of it. Burst limit was a step forward with Raditz, Tien, Yamcha, Saibaman, Piccolo, and IW greatly made Adult Gohan's moves his own.

There are more bad DBZ games? Sure there are the NES/SNES games, but I would say they were good for their time. The first real bad DBZ game would be Final Bout since more was expected for it's time, and UB22 has no excuse.

Well what I mean is that the combo system is really stiff to me. There is only a handful of combos to do. Plus it just feels like all the characters play pretty much the same. I don't know. Maybe I just really suck and need to play it more.

Some of the newer DBZ games coming out have disappointed me a bit. There may be more games to add to this here

I feel comfortable owning BT2 and BT3 and Playstation 2. Since many of the recent games play much like the original Tenkaichi series which are already fairly dated games.
