Ocean Dub DBZ Movies
I know that movies 1 through 3 have been dubbed by Ocean, but what about the rest of the movies? Did Ocean ever get to dub movies 4 though 13?
While at Anime News Network I came along something interesting when I was looking at the cast list and saw Ocean actors for the rest of the movies. I'm wondering if they dub the rest to show on tv in Canada.

Re: Ocean Dub DBZ Movies
Ocean Group only dubbed DBZ Movies 1-3, then Bridge took over and dubbed all 13 DBZ movies... in a rushed pathetic effort.trunkschan90 wrote:I know that movies 1 through 3 have been dubbed by Ocean, but what about the rest of the movies? Did Ocean ever get to dub movies 4 though 13?

Actually, Bridge only dubbed up through movie 9, although only movies 1-6 have been shown here.

That's strange I thought I saw a preview of Brolly Returns on the Toonami trailer, but regardless they did only dub up to movie 9... I still remember them pronouncing Bojack's name as "Boojack"The Tori-bot wrote:Actually, Bridge only dubbed up through movie 9, although only movies 1-6 have been shown here.

I wrote an e-mail with questions about this dub and they answered that even they DON'T know who dubbed this stuff!
- Publisher for the UK is Warner Vision InternationalFirst of all, thanks for the compliments!
Then about the voice actors... we really don't have a clue. The problem is, that we don't own the home video-rights for the Dragonball series and movies anymore, and that there is no contact anymore with the producers. And in the past, the mastertapes were allready dubbed when we received them. We never received any actors lists whatsoever.
We apologise for not being able to awnser your question!
Kind Regards,

Wow that's strange, but we all know Toonami never dubbed this no matter how many people say they did... I remember finding a Bojack movie dubbed by them and they called him "Boojack"Timo wrote:Yes, the someone was me. ^^
