GT Review of Awesomeness status?
GT Review of Awesomeness status?
I was re-listening to some of the old episodes that featured the GT Review of Awesomeness and I was wondering was there ever a update on the status of that segment? Has that been cancelled?

Cancelled? Even though it's been a while since the last one, I would doubt it.
It took 'em awhile to plug through the original Manga Review of Awesomeness too, but dang if it didn't get done... eventually. Kanzenshuu loves to finish things they start because hey! things are fun and mmm yummy credibility, but OH NO here comes this constant shitstorm of news (movies and Heroes and Kai, oh my!) to get in the way, and they KINDA have to dish on that stuff first because-- as an extension of the website-- the podcast likes to be timely and relevant in choosing topics for discussion whenever possible.
EVERYTHING gets done if you put it under the "distant future" heading.
So to summarize, my thoughts as to what's going on is, too much to do, not enough time that isn't being constantly NOM-NOM-NOM'd by neverending "Battle of Gods"-type event coverage and other news.
(Bear in mind, I'm not staff, but as someone that's followed the website for a laaawwwnnng time, I feel like it's a reasonable hypothesis in the absence of an official comment.)

Jeff made a run for it when he saw what was coming next.
But seriously, I think it's a case of, "We'd like to finish it. We'll get around to it when we can, but life happens." So yeah, I doubt they'd wanna say anything's set-in-stone, just in case they do get the opportunity to finish it.
Although, I should probably let someone that's actually involved with it to confirm this.

Pretty much what others have said - I don't doubt that it will get finished eventually, it's just a matter of when. Between real life stuff intruding, there's this new wave of material we're constantly getting in the form of video games, Heroes (yes, I know it's a game, but it's pretty much it's own thing at this point too), and now even new movies...it's no wonder there's a lot on their plate.
