Manga UK Announce DBZ Battle of Gods DVD/Bluray release

On the movie 13 artwork a black haired Vegeta is next to him (and Videl is in the back) so it's not so jarring as in that South Korean poster.

Yeah , I also think the older artwork is far Superior anyway.

Here's an update from Manga UK:

- Our release of Dragon Ball Z Battle Of Gods will includes the director's cut version of the film as well as the theatrical version.

- There will be 3 versions of Dragon Ball Z Battle Of Gods available from 10th November in the UK
1) DVD version that will contain both versions of the film as well as on-disc extras.
2) Blu-ray version will contain both versions of the film only.
3) Collector's Ed will include both films on Blu-ray, 4 exclusive art cards, a slip cover and the DVD disc (from the DVD version) that will contain the on-disc extras.

(NOTE: the extras on DBZ Battle Of Gods we mentioned are not in HD, which is why they're only on the DVD disc we spoke of.)

Seems like they updated their Battle of Gods logo to what FUNimation has. They haven't revealed anything else of what the Collector's Edition comes with, so what we know now might be all of it, eh not that interesting of a CE.

Farewell original Battle of Gods logo from Amazon's product page because it's been officially replaced with the new FUNimation logo.



The original logo looked far better with its design whereas FUNimation's cheap and tacky, *sigh* such a shame Manga UK is going to use it (or was forced to) for their UK BoG Blu-ray/DVD release.

It's Region A so unless you've got a Blu-ray Player that plays Region A BDs you can't watch it at all.

I got a region free Blu-Ray player just for the Japanese Battle of Gods Collector's Edition Blu-Ray (Which seems to be the superior Collectors Edition for the film by a mile).

I'm the same. I really hope it's not true. They could make a far bit of money from having it play in more cinemas (People would go see it just for the nostalgia factor and the children that watch DragonBall Z Kai on Kix).
