Didn't Toriyama say that Buu was reincarnated quickly because he was evil incarnate? It was you who translated this right?

When somebody dies and later is resurrected he doesn't remember anyting from afterlife, because only his soul gets through. We can see when many sould are brought back to like they remember only the last moments before their death. Thex eceptions are who was allwed to keep their bodies like Goku, Tenshinhan, Yamcha, Chaozu and Piccolo.

I think it would be funny to see Goku and Vegeta's reactions to a female saiyan.

I would love that. Even if it's Toriyama's story, and he doesn't really want female villain, that's a thing the Dragon Ball misses.

There's a reason... if the one who will be resurrected is a hero, but he was killed because with his existence was provoked a despair.

New theory: this movie will somehow be linked with that crappy retcon Toriyama made about Buu. It seems like he was trying to draw a connection between Buu and Beerus. Of course I could be wrong, and it could all be pointless.

Yeah, I used to have the same concept about Buu, but Toriyama said that if the Pure Buu was pure evil he was purified very quickly and was reincarnated as Uub right away. So Shenlen to resurrect Buu it would be just in case to kill Uub first. Or they will resurrect Babidi?

I don't think Buu will be the main villain or anything, just that the whole "Buu wasn't created by Bibidi" crap will be referenced or explained somewhere.

What? It wasn't crappy at all. Boo being a force of nature is far more believable than him being some magical monster with unexplained power created by some no name wizard.

Anyways, if Toriyama wanted to link Boo and Beerus, he would have done so in BoG with Beerus or Whis commenting about Boo's appearance or something.

Maybe they can open a gate to other universes, or a gate to a new dimension? ?

So the main fighters for upcoming movies will be Super Saiyan (God) Goku, Super Saiyan (God) Vegeta (he’ll probably get God in the next movie too), Super Saiyan 3 Gotenks and Gohan. MAYBE Oob if Toriyama ever goes from the 28th Tenkaichi Budokai beyond, but Kid Boo is really outclassed by those above that it isn’t even funny. The rest of Z fighters are really outclassed and useless so any power up that they get will seem like an asspull, so it’s better, unfortunately, to leave them alone.

Sucks that Vegeta and Goku are probably the only ones that are going to get any fighting, I want to see Gohan and Gotenks again...

I don't know how I'd feel about a mask. I could see one being used by bad guys, or as a plot device, but for the main characters, I dunno.

That would be for the best anyway. With Battle of Gods being the first movie in so long it's understandable they'd have all the characters in it which is why they set it at a party but most of the characters didn't do anything, nothing much really happened and a lot of time was wasted on Pilaf and co.

With the next one they should focus on a smaller cast, Goku, Vegeta, Piccolo, Goten and Trunks (as much as I couldn't care less about them). Gohan probably not as he doesn't really care much for fighting at this point.

Maybe introduce a new good guy to the Z Fighter roster for a change and a villain. That'd be enough.

While I was surprisingly entertained by Pilaf Gang in BOG, I really don't want them using up valuable time to become a thing. I think I'd be more lenient if these were tv series with filler to spare, but not with movies. They even gave Pilaf Gang one of the better animators (Nakatsuru, if I'm not mistaken) in their earliest scenes in BOG. It feels unfair that Pilaf gets the better (imo) animation while we wind up with cgi at random parts of the Beerus/ssjg Gokû battle.

I'd have rather used Nakatsuru on Vegeta's fight than Pilaf's antics, even if I did find them funny.

It actually amazes me to this day that there was never a crossover between DBZ and Seiya considering they are both Shonen Jump series, licensed by Toei, and share a lot of mutual voice actors.
