It is clear that sometime in Mark Satan's life, he acquired the dragon balls and called upon shenlong to grant him immortality.

Around 1994-1997. They had a horrible cliffhanger where they stopped airing new episodes for a year or two just when Goku was rushing off on Kinto'un towards Vegeta and Nappa. They resumed just long enough to conclude the rest of the Saiyan arc, and then that was that. We didn't get a full run until another channel dubbed it in the local language around 2001.JackyBoi99 wrote: What years were the filipino english dub shown on television?
And it was pretty bad. It kinda reminded me of the Sony Columbia dub on Rurouni Kenshin in terms of making up stuff as they went along script-wise.

Thank you. Also, what about the Tagalog dub? Was that simultaneous or after the English dub? I heard the voice of Kulilin was the same in both dubs.Tracer1 wrote:They used the english version for the opening song... all Dragon Ball and DBZ episodes shown in the Phillipines are in English dubbed. if my memory serves me right, even the ending-credit song is in english version

I'm not sure about Krillin's VA, but the Tagalog dub didn't air until around 2001 or so. It picked up where Yu Yu Hakusho left off as the channel's primetime hit anime (although IMO YYH still had the slicker marketing, although DBZ gave it a good go).linkdude20002001 wrote: Thank you.
