Yeah, it's a bit different in the Japanese language. Although the words can be translates as swear words, Japan doesn't really have swearing, like we do. There's is a level of harshness and rudeness in words and delivery that can be more emphasized as swearing, but inherently they aren't considered swearing. Heck, Sonic X, which aired in Japan during Sunday mornings, had Sonic swear a couple times in English. One instance of it being "Shit", for example. However, there is the idea of vulgarity with certain words, which are forbidden on broadcast in Japan (such as slurs). I think when it comes down to it at the end of the day, they're just words. They emphasis emotion at the time how one feels and what not. However, sadly, society has deemed these words inappropriate, vulgar, and what not, thus the language can't be said.
I still find the concept of censoring Hell strange, when people grow up with the concept of it's existence. I remember Cartoons in the 90s still acknowledged it's existence, but after a certain point, it was danced around.
