Nah I'm actually in agreement. I always think, and hope that the 12 universe thing is just to tell Goku that there's no such thing called strongest and nothing more. Power in DBZ has gone off the scale now i find it very Saiyan biased and boring. I watch all of DBZ for anything other than power.
I think it was a good sign that Toriyama seems to be more inclined to the "people and familial relationship" kinda thing with his new works and interviews. I have complete admiration and faith in his views, and with all the questions BOGs, Minus and Jaco brought up about the Saiyans' past, I will kill something if the new movie keep going on about Goku pulling new transformations out of his ass.

My newest guess for when we'll get an update is October's VJump. I don't think Saikyou Jump is big enough of a magazine for them to put it in there. (I want there to be something in next week's Saikyou though; if only because the wait's felt so tremendously long at this point).

If anything, regarding transformations I'm mainly worried that ssjg Gokû won't show up at all; that we're back to exclusively base and ssj1. I realize we're losing ssj2 and ssj3, but if we have to lose those two I'd rather not also lose ssjg. We never did get to see 100% power ssjg Gokû though, so I still have hope he's not gone or anything.

Maybe he meant the ritual cause he said Goku didn't need it after he absorbed it's power yet in the movie we see him use it again.

I don't know why is so difficult to understand that the form(and power too) of Super Saiyan God it's a temporary phenomenon. Goku was the only one special to maintain that power without it's appearance, and also with it, but only in a really dangerous situation. So according Toriyama, he not only has absorbed the power but made the God nature too of his own, otherwise Goku's Godly power should have disappeared after the fight against Beerus, because he was totally run out of it. So Goku's Godly nature was kept, then his God power has been recovered right away without another ritual.

So I expect Goku will fight as a Super Saiyan in the next movie, but still having that God power, or even higher, if he has trained after the Battle of Gods' events, which he surely did.

No, he meant that the form itself was useless because Goku could use its power without transforming. Base/SS Goku is now barely weaker than SSGod Goku now, and his base/SS doesn't have a time-limit. The only way for the form to be useful is if what Goku did with Beerus' ki blast was an exclusive special ability, or if it has other special abilities. But power-wise, it's useless.

I know Toriyama said that we won't be seeing SSJ2 or SSJ3 anymore but I still want them to make an appearance, even just for a bit.
With Goku absorbing the god power it'll make SSJ3 even more powerful.I guess I'm just saw because my hope of Vegeta actually getting SSJ3 is only a dream now.

While ssj2 never stood out to me that much with Gokû, I feel kinda sad about losing ssj3, even though I don't like those eyebrows, the form itself still looked distinctively different from ssj1 and 2.

^I actually can't tell Super Saiyan 1 and 2 apart. In fact, it isn't even named as such during the Cell Games. When I saw it, I thought it was just another one of those ascensions.

Maybe 5-10 years ago but now it's anything but a dream and has the same chance of happening as anything else.

What i would call a dream is Toriyama coming back to the series but now not only is he back but he's enjoying it so if that can happen then anything can.

Not much of a fan of the whole power of the god thing but looking weaker than a god. Would hate for that form to be only exclusive to BOG. Hopefully there will be a way for Goku to get red hair again and hopefully someone else gets the form.

Quite interesting theory... Goku mentioned that he would never be able to reach that power on his own.. It would be quite interesting if it would exist another way for a Saiyan to become on his own a God.

I just really like the look of ssjg Gokû, and I'd like to see what he could do with that form and those powers specific to that form after he has time to develop them.
With Vegeta, I'd like to see more entertaining stuff between him and Bulma; I enjoyed that in BOG.

I hope at the very least we find out who the character designer is soon. Maybe even the movie's title.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but we knew a decent amount about Battle of Gods long before it came out. The real details came out in the final week or 2 before release.
Again I could be wrong, I honestly don't remember.
