A legendary golden age fits Broly much better than trying to go ssj4.
Also Broly is calm when he wants to be more so in m8 however.

So, in that scenario, Goku is Broli's Pan? I'm okay with that. And I'm not okay with that, because then it worksWobbuffet wrote:Broli could pull a "my heart is pure evil" speech.Kaboom wrote:I'm just going to take some solace in knowing that, outside of this DB Heroes wankery of him, Broli would never actually be capable of reaching Super Saiyan 4. Hilarious. Can we get back on track now?
Are there any magazines coming soon that may reveal more details about the next sets? I'm assuming Xenoverse/Online characters should be appearing soon.

I feel like I'm posting this pretty often:DNA wrote:Are there any magazines coming soon that may reveal more details about the next sets? I'm assuming Xenoverse/Online characters should be appearing soon.
There is some built-in sway time if there is a holiday (like releasing a day earlier or later), but generally:
- V-Jump is released on the 21st of every month.
- Saikyō Jump is released on the 3rd/4th of the month when it's released (which has been monthly for a couple years now, but is seemingly bi-monthly for the foreseeable future).
- Weekly Shōnen Jump is released each Monday.

Right, so we should be getting some news trickling down along next week, probably for Xenoverse as well. That's something nice to look forward to :3

On the other hand, he could just reach Legendary Super Saiyan 4 which has the opposite requirement: being super pissed and irrational, all the time.Kaboom wrote:I'm just going to take some solace in knowing that, outside of this DB Heroes wankery of him, Broli would never actually be capable of reaching Super Saiyan 4. I'm re-watching Dragon Ball GT in full on my blog. Check it out if you're interested in my thoughts on the series as I watch through it!

If it were a thing, sure. I guess. But regardless of what the design is, every one of his higher forms is classified as the same transformation everyone else uses, except in that one Raging Blast commercial.Saiga wrote:On the other hand, he could just reach Legendary Super Saiyan 4 which has the opposite requirement: being super pissed and irrational, all the time.

Re: "Dragon Ball Heroes" On-Going Discussion Thread
I still contend that a "skinny" SSJ4 Broli would be way more bad ass and interesting. At least there'd be some variety there.
Either way, it's getting ridiculous. Broli wasn't even strong enough for SSJ3, let alone 4. Then again, neither were Future Trunks/Gohan, so I guess actual strength goes out the window in terms of ability to transform in Heroes. I guess there is hope for SSJ3 Nappa after all.
I was Thanos before the MCU existed!

I agree. I think I would have preferred him with his base frame, BUT at least they are making his "legendary" sized version look kinda badass:

Is that San Xing Long (Eis Shenron)? I do find it funny that I first saw a image of SSj4 Goku fighting San Xing Long back in 2001, someone told me that was SSj4 Broli.

Why are "Teen Trunks" and "Future Trunks" listed as separate characters on the Dragon Ball Wiki?

Re: "Dragon Ball Heroes" On-Going Discussion Thread
Because they are two separate characters in Heroes. Even though the only difference between them is a shade on their jacket. Absolutely ridiculous, but that's what they did.jollyr wrote:Why are "Teen Trunks" and "Future Trunks" listed as separate characters on the Dragon Ball Wiki?

Not that it makes it a more valid reason to split them up, but this always irritates me. It's not just a different color, It's a different outfit; alternate shirt, entirely different jacket, alternate color pants.DNA wrote:Because they are two separate characters in Heroes. Re: "Dragon Ball Heroes" On-Going Discussion Thread
Huh, never noticed it. Like you said, it doesn't warrant an alternate character. I mean, Kaioshin Gohan didn't and I would have happily accepted that one as a new character.TheDevilsCorpse wrote:Not that it makes it a more valid reason to split them up, but this always irritates me. Reading the list on Dragon Ball Wikia, they list "Ultimate" Gohan with Kaioshin clothes as a form even though it isn't the case it's just an outfit, as I just mentioned; they don't make any remark about Jaco being a summonable characters, not his own entry. They roll Majin Buu Good into the forms of Majin Buu Pure, which is acceptable, but then they do the same with Baby Janenba, even though he is his own separate character. They also didn't include Shadow Goku, which is a summon of a summon, dunno how much of a character that makes it. Finally, they mention that Giant Liu Xing Long is the only unsummonnable character so far, but that isn't true, as far as I know, King of Destruction Hirudegarn is also unsummonable. Everything else is more or less okay, they do list certain forms that are actually classed as separate characters and even though I did the same in my chart, this is a wikia, it's supposed to be accurate and informative. It's almost as if they "borrowed" most of the information from my chart instead of doing a basic research on the official website.

Re: "Dragon Ball Heroes" On-Going Discussion Thread
Yeah, though Jaco isn't the only character who started of as a summon. He'll most likely be playable next set. Bebi Janenba is a separate character card wise, but there is always the possibility he'll get the innocent Buu treatment in the future. There is a mission in-game where Bebi actually infects Janenba mid mission, same as characters who actually have the mechanics on their card. If we're counting that though, I guess we need to acknowledge that pure Buu can become Kibtoshin Buu in either his PURE pure state, or his South Kaioshin absorbed state.
They also don't note that the other "Majin" characters, like Zangya, don't have playable cards. Or that Amepai and Zaripai still aren't playable (and probably never will be at this point).

Dragon Ball games, and anime games in general, have been super weird about what's considered separate characters and what are just variations/costumes.
Wait, what?EveBlaze31 wrote:That sounds like Slenderman much less broly.SSJ God Gogeta wrote:apparentlyKentalSSJ6 wrote:Ok so basically Broly is a big man baby and just needs a hug?
