R2 DVDs Volumes 34-36

Post by DaemonCorps » Fri Sep 22, 2006 5:21 pm

Volume 34
Volume 35
Volume 36

Update from toxicg in the comments section of kanzentai.com.
34 and 36 are standard looking in comparison to the previous three. But 35 looks pretty good, and Gohan fans will probably dig it, too :D.

Yeah, I agree, they do look pretty standard, but still better than anything I could ever do.

#34: My personal favourite. Paikuhan is probably my favourite filler character, and recently he's being tossed into video games (Shin budokai, Sparking! NEO). I dig it. And the halos look really good. 8)

Lemme see if there's a filter on his dub name... Pikkon.

EDIT: Yep!

#35: One for the Gohan fans. Videl's lookin' good in that one. Nice detail on Gohan's face.

#36: Nothing special. My least favourite; nothing we haven't seen a hundred times before. Just okay.

Hopefully next month'll be better.

Nice pics! I think the Gohan one is the best....but I think I'm holding off of the R2 DVDs until the Majin Vegita ones drop. I just bought #32 and #17, along with a crapload of books(and Pokemon Diamond  ).

As I mentioned in the previous R2 topic, I think the better ones are better because they make good use of the DVD space, unlike the other ones that show a lot of the yellow background.

Volume 36 is a good example of this: There's more of the yellow background exposed than there needs to be. They could have depicted the kids actually exchanging blows (like in the actual fight), or at least made them a little larger.

Still, new Goten art. Rare!

The NUMBER ONE Goten fan, and a fucking epic one at that.
