I only played about 4-5 matches, didn't bother any longer.

I can't say I found the game to be fun. The melee combat seemed clunky, slow and repetitive, but since everybody here loved it, I take it I just sucked at the game and needed more practice with it.

PROS:

+ The graphics are as nice as they can be for a Dragon Ball game which wants to look like the cartoon. The animation is fluid (Dimps, duh) and I really liked the shading and the design of the characters.
+ Title music was pretty well done.
+ Customization is awesome. So many options and we've barely scratched the surface. The game just screams 'content' and I'm pretty sure the final product will deliver on that regard.
+ Offline HUB will be awesome, if actually done.

CONS:
- Way too few combo options, although it might have been me not playing enough to unearth more of the game's secrets.
- Dashing towards your opponent from a distance is painfully stupid, and needs to be fixed ASAP. If I'm locked onto an opponent then dashing/charging with the analog stick up should make my character go TOWARDS the opponent, not fly above him as if I have no target!! My main beef with the controls there.
- Fighting didn't seem fun to me
- Didn't really understood how instantaneous movement works (during a combo, or as an evasion maneuver). Sometimes it worked, sometimes it didn't. Sometimes it made me appear behind my opponent, but I had my back to him. Weird stuff.

In the end, the game is horribly unpolished (alpha, duh) and it shows. I just hope they'll do some serious ironing before releasing the game.

I'll still buy it, but ... I don't think I'll rush or anything.

This is my main gripe with the game... mainly in the Lookout map.
That and not being able to lock right at the beggining of the match without getting closer to the opponent like the CPU does.

Also, just saw the most recent update from them. Made me laugh.

From Bandai Namco, I expect nothing short of a middle finger toward the folks that didn't get to play it. So probably not. I'll be VERY surprised if they actually extend it.

Sorry didn't have time to check.... He ran away from a group which I guess was his fans and didn't want to be bothered by them......
But what I don't get is, if he didn't want his fans to swarm him then why use his youtube name as his character name....
That's just dumb.
