Does anyone have a recording of the entire first episode of The Final Chapters? Because I'm curious about how different it is from the Japanese broadcast! :D

^ Unfortunately, no.
Aside from minor changes in music placements, the only real difference is that due to the five-minutes recap, the episode ends earlier and stops when Gohan goes back home from school, thinking that he'll need to go see Bulma to have a better way to conceal his identity when being a hero.
No extra scenes are shown compared to the original Japanese, it just ends about five minutes earlier due to "starting" about five minutes later.

Ah, so basically, The Final Chapters #1 ends where the Japanese Kai #99 takes a commercial break (this is also where original Dragon Ball Z #200 ended).

Thanks again Cold Skin!

Oh okay, thanks Cold Skin, you are man of the hour! I'm glad someone has access to these episodes, since it's going to be a while before we see a Funi dub :( . I really wish I understood French right now. :D

I don't suppose any of our French members have managed to see the International Version of Vegeta's sacrifice yet?. I'm curious to know what score they used for the moment.

Presumably the same song that was used in the Japanese version, since they match exactly starting with Kaiōshin's first appearance...

They skipped that episode and the episode after it for some damn weird reason...

That is just ridiculous. I guess we'll have to wait until Korea get there.

Which at their current pacing, will take another 10 weeks.

They're skipping episodes? Geez, what is the matter with them? Do they think the viewers are idiots or something? :?

Fortunately, it's being broadcasted on Gameone, too. And they show two new episodes daily.

Wow, wow, wow, some truth needs to be told here. They didn't skip any episode.

As announced, the simulcast was always meant to start last Monday, and to do that, they exceptionally aired a series of episodes on Sunday plus a series of episodes on Monday.
The "Majin Vegeta's battle and sacrifice" episodes that our provider missed were the ones aired on Sunday, which just caught him by surprise as there is usually no episode on Sunday.

So the pace just had a speed boost on last Sunday and Monday so that the first simulcast ever for a Dragon Ball series could start on Monday.

Thanks for clearing that up, Cold Skin. It did seem very random that they would skip those 2 episodes in particular.

Really? That's what I was told on the db-z.com forum. I even asked him twice. I thought it was a bit strange, but since he repeated it and he's been recording all episodes... I never meant to lie, guys.

^ Ah, don't worry about that, misunderstanding happens on forums! :)
A mistake is not a lie: a lie is intentional, a mistake is just an accident.

That's what the community is for, if one says something wrong, somebody else will catch up for their mistake before long.
Don't blame yourself, it's no big deal!

Okay, our French provider clarified the situation for us once and for all, since Sangofe and I had interpreted his post differently.
And it happens that Sangofe was right, the episodes aired on Sunday that I had thought to be the sacrifice ones were actually just re-runs.

So yeah, I was wrong about this and Sangofe had indeed understood our provider's post: it seems that they did skip the few episodes of Vegeta's battle against Boo in order to start the exclusive simulcast as soon as possible, probably being excited to have such an opportunity.

How ironic to try to restore the truth and actually do the opposite. But the truth has indeed been restored now, truth is always just a matter of time.

I can understand them being excited at the prospect of a simulcast, but to skip two episodes (especially ones with importance such as these) just isn't on. It's ridiculous, I'm sure they could have fitted them in somehow on demand maybe?.

This forum doesn't support piracy.

And regarding piracy, Japan's going nuts with piracy which features Luffy, so instead of Luffy fighting pirates of the seas it's instead of the internet. lol
FUNimation 2015 Releases I want:
- Kai 2.0 on Blu-ray

Yet it's full of clips from various moments in the series.
July 9th 2018 will be remembered as the day Broly became canon.
