...well I guess if you need proof then you need proof. Maybe it's Spike in collab with someone else, I don't know. Those definitely look like J Stars caliber DBZ models. I really don't get how you're not seeing this.

J-Stars and Zenkai use a more detailed version of Ultimate Tenkaichi's models, which some of them were already an improvement of their Raging Blast counterparts (ex: Most of Vegeta forms look better in UT than they do in RB, however base Goku looks worse in UT than he did in RB, which was fixed for J-Stars). The animations are there as well (Piccolo's Zenkai throw is basically his air combo from RB. Teen Gohan includes a slower version of his ground combo from RB as well) And they even straight up used some maps without edditing (Zenkai's Namek is the same exact one as BT3 on a bigger scale). The overall movement is like RB's with the added throw options.

It's all there, the only thing someone could argue is the fact that every attack is real-time now but J-Stars also does it.

The official website for Zenkai Battle Royale — the Japan-exclusive, arcade-only, multiplayer fighting game — provides an update on six new costumes available for players to unlock until 15 September 2014.



Included are:

Tenshinhan (green outfit from near the end of the series)
Mr. Satan (fancy purple outfit from the 2008 Jump Super Anime Tour Special)
Super Saiyan Son Goku (Saiyan/Freeza armor)
Super Saiyan Trunks (his early-teenage outfit from the Trunks TV Special)
Yamcha (kung-fu outfit)
Videl (blue tank-top with “FIGHT”)

Through special “item acquisition battles” these costumes can be unlocked that adjust your character’s outfit by taking first place under battle royale and team battle rules by yourself or with a friend.

Mostly new color sets but Bardock gets his Battle Damaged Armour and Ultimate Gohan finally gets his Kaioshin Outfit.

I'm actually not sure how the Japanese would react to a Home Port after 4 years of the game being in the arcades. Interestingly enough tho, along with the Paikuhan and Raditz updates, there was also an update to single player where finishing missions now gives you rewards as well. http://db-zenkai.com/news/index.php There's also what I believe to be a tips/guide section now as well (which is not even complete btw) http://db-zenkai.com/guide/index.php.
