If you're pre-ordering you really don't have a choice. You'll be paying full MSRP. That's how pre-ordering works. You can't PRE-order POST release on a sale.

Plenty of online retailers do pre-orders at slightly reduced prices. A few online stores from my country consistently sell newly released games and pre-orders at 10€ off MSRP, which is how I'll be getting it, if I manage the spare cash in time for it.

Yeah, take Bayonetta 2: Special Edition for example.

There were retailers who slashed down the price to £34.75/£35.99 whereas the original full price was slated at £39/£45 so they grabbed a good chunk of new customers and just recently Amazon dropped it too to £39 which isn't much but by using Flubit it's possible to get a lower price.

If I used Flubit for it I doubt they'd lower Xenoverse PS4 any more than £45.

Ouch, they're definitely giving you the short end of the stick. You can still get it for at least the standard price through places like Amazon, though, right?

I am happy though that this is getting released pretty early. I just hope they took their time with it. I was gonna order Destiny for xbox one but now I think I'll take that money and put towards this. I just hope my Paikuhan is in this!

If you care about storytelling in a game then you'll avoid Destiny, and hey, put that money towards Xenoverse which will definitely be way better by the looks of it.

I really hope Dimps has already fixed the dashing...

Select retailers that they'll announce soon and update the Dragon Ball Xenoverse website's pre-order section with. Amazon will most likely end up being one of them.

I'm not a Sony Pony fanboy but the PS4 is the ideal multplatform system for this current-gen whereas XO feels underpowered for the games as the devs put their best efforts towards the PS4 edition. But still, you can't get Dead Rising 3 or that awesome upcoming exclusive Sunset Overdrive!

PS4 is lacking a lot in terms of having actual exclusives currently, the best they came up with was releasing an HD-er version of The Last of Us.

My feelings exactly. I wouldn't be surprised if this alone drives a few sales away. Even if he's still unlockable in the game, like with Minato in Naruto Storm 2, it's wrong on many levels.

It shouldn't affect any possible GT story, since he'll already be locked on the disc anyway. We saw how that has no effect on being able to fight them, with Battle of Z.

Nope Vegeta is the pre order character.
It's just that the chances of getting Gogeta ssj4 for are less and less likely...
Unless they also make him a DLC character...

That's if you fight against them. Vegeta was kinda a good guy versus Yi Xing Long. So either he's not included as an option for that fight, always controlled by the computer, or there is no GT story (maybe just for that fight or all of GT)...all of which are annoying.
