From what i understand, Kai Majin Buu is shown on JP TV only because Toei had to fill timeslot, but why DVD/Blu Ray release allso is TV one, instead of Final Chapters? I'm not Japanese, but i would be pretty pissed, if i find out, that i got different, inferior product from rest of world, not only for TV, but home release as well. If somebody think I'm bashing Kai, I'm really not, i just wonder why Toei made such decision, i bet Japanese people know about International version.

Well, I don't know for sure, but I'm pretty sure they'd want to keep their JP-exclusive theme songs. And I don't think they'd see the loss of 20 or so episodes as a big deal when they could just see the same footage in Z.
