Oh well.....I don't believe I'll be getting the CE so MAYBE! If I can get the money before February I may pre-order it. Guess we'll see but I'm not gonna break my neck just for the pre-order bonus.Dragon Ball Xenoverse will be launching in the Americas on February 17, 2015!
We're also announcing that the "Day 1" Edition will include the playable Super Saiyan 4 Vegeta along with two special Freeza Soldier's Battle Suits (Gold + Crystal!)
Post that link
I've sent them an email regarding the 'DLC' and the Steelbook case but still no response and be aware (if you didn't know) that Video Game Box charges you straight away for pre-ordering the game.Dicrypter wrote:All pre order have the dlc bonus? I don't see a problem either. Unless you won't have the money by the time of release (which would be a good time to start saving now), if you're planning on getting the game you might as well get it on release. Pre-order bonuses are just incentives to get the game on release, and if the bonus isn't worth pre-ordering the game for, then there's no point in having it in the first place.Dbzfan94 wrote:I really don't see the big deal about the preordering. Exactly! Plus pre-orders (at least at the GameStop where I'm from) they hold your game for you so it's like a guarantee that you get it when you walk in.EA575 wrote:I don't see a problem either. You also can't blame Bandai Namco for this since virtually all publishers have pre-order bonuses for their big titles.

And what about people like me, who eventually planned on buying the game multiple times? Who want all the content, but were waiting between purchases for price drops so that they didn't have to shell out $150 on the same game? Who, despite deciding to support them multiple times over, will be receiving inferior versions for those later purchases?Dbzfan94 wrote:Exactly! This is a huge problem, it literally cuts options in half now that we'd be forced to clash things like this. All Saiyan armour belongs to someone so they're going to just be locked on default white? Smh. Most of the detailed costumes belong to the official cast already. Getting something like Slug's suit and not being able to colour it is BS. Its bad enough the Saiyan tails are attached to the Armour itself as well. Seriously. Who thought this was a good idea?TheDevilsCorpse wrote:Which is just as problematic. In this case, if you want to dress your Saiyan up in Saiyan armor, even if they give you a couple of sets that you can change the colors on, you're missing out on like a dozen other designs just because they officially belonged to someone. Why can't I try and create a unique armor combination by picking Nappa's boot's, Radit'z waist section, Vegeta's Chest section and Bardock's glove things, without looking like a multicolored freak with ZERO sense of fashion? Even Nappa, Raditz and Vegeta were color coordinated.
And if by chance the ones they give that you can change the colors on end up looking like the official character ones that you can't change, then why are they wasting space by doubling them up for no reason?
Zephyr wrote:The fandom's collective fetishizing of "moments" is also ridiculous to me. No, not everyone needs a fucking "shine" moment. If that's all you want, then all you want is fanservice, rather than an actual coherent story. And of course those aren't mutually exclusive; you could have a coherent story with "shine" moments! But if a story is perfectly coherent (and I'm really not seeing any compelling arguments that this one is anything but, despite constantly recurring, really poorly reasoned, attempts to argue otherwise), and you're bemoaning the lack of "shine" moments as a reason for the story's poor quality, then you're letting your thirst for "shine" moments obfuscate your ability to detect basic storytelling when it's right in front of you.
Pretty sure the Saiyan edition was the old name for the Trunks travel edition.KentalSSJ6 wrote:If SSJ4 Vegeta ever does get sold later as DLC I may pick him up for possible moves to learn if anything. Otherwise, those armors are downright fugly. Unless you wanna make Saint Seiya in this I see no reason to buy the gold armor. I see no reason to pre-order this currently. Has anyone got any info on that Saiyan edition that was also leaked?
Very likely. The Saiyan edition on Amazon was changed to Trunks Travel Edition so it's gone.SSJ God Gogeta wrote:Pretty sure the Saiyan edition was the old name for the Trunks travel edition.
